today he learned about some real legends the infamous warcriminal Pekora and her savagery in mineraft and bald Fauna lmao also I really love clips because theres no way you can really watch every stream so its a good opportunity to kinda keep you finger on the pulse of the community and kinda get a sense of whats going on and feel out the talents with how they act besides what you get in their music aside from clips I also think you would really enjoy some of the fan animations people make theres a crazy amount of talent in the community and its where some of the people like Kanauru (does a surprising amount of official 3d work for the talents and Cover), and Kay Yu (did an op fanart animtion for Calli, made HoloCure, and has insane credits in some popular animes) come from

Old clips are always fun! Lets you see some of the stuff that happened while you weren't in the fandom yet. I only joined the Hololive fandom around a year ago, so I wasn't here for any of these clips, though I have seen a few. 8:10 This is Usada Pekora, and she's gained a reputation as somewhat of a war criminal for some of her actions on the Minecraft server. 10:27 Pretty much all Hololive Vtubers do Members Only streams, giving stuff like extra content and the like, or even extra context behind song production or their concerts, from time to time. 12:18 From right to left (the order you went in), the Ratatouille meme is Baelz (since she's a rat), the Owl is Mumei (she's associated with Owls) and the clock is Kronii (as she's the warden of time) Gonna continue recommending the fan animation "Myth's Bad Ending" by Mazumaro, and I'll also throw out Holo no Graffiti (Hologra) and HoloEN 3D Repeat. Hologra is a series of skits Hololive does animated using the 3D models and having the characters being voiced by the people behind the vtuber. Meanwhile, HoloEN 3D Repeat is similarly animated with the 3D models, but instead covers popular clips and reanimates them in 3D.

Back during the pandemic, the EN branch couldn't travel to Japan to get their 3D models done. So as a way to still do some 3D content, they played in VR chat together. Myth (Holo En first gen) got models done by Walfie which are chibi versions of themselves and I don't know the story of Counsil's (now Promise) models, but those were fun streams. For special occasions they go back to VR but not very often. Kiara usually does an Easter event with it

You need to dig deeper in the Hololive hole. For many and possibly the majority of Holofans, it started with Miko's Stay Home GTAV streams and/or Korone's Eekum Bokum, Doom, or her English Only streams, whether it be the Super Mario, Mario Kart, or her I'm Die, Thank You Forever stream with Calli.

Man seeing these clips is really bringing me back, I haven't seen some of these in years. So glad to see more clips. Definitely think you should mix old and new clips with each other, as that might also give you a sense of how far these talents have come or changed over the years.

I think you now have an inkling of why Gura's at the top of Hololive. She's cute but has gremlin energy. A small troll with a great singing voice. And her dynamic with her chat is hilarious. She actually became quite inactive for a bit but only very recently started streaming normally again. At least for now. Good time to get into Gura honestly. And if you love DBD, Gura actually played a bit of DBD, by herself or with other members. As for the memberships question, it varies what content they do for Members-only. But pretty much all of them do Members-only content. Sometimes they do movie/anime watchalongs. Sometimes they play some games with their members. Sometimes they just stream in Members-only and just talk to chat for hours. AFAIK one of the good things about Memberships is that your content there won't really affect your channel's algorithm. Like at all. So if you plan on doing something that's more obscure or out-of-the-box, you can keep your channel's statistics safe by just doing it Members-only.

The OG Hololive Minecraft servers were riddled with traps. Pekora (the one tricking Sana in this clip) is a true war criminal when it comes to Minecraft and Rust. She just organized a weeklong Minecraft Hardcore event - check out some of those clips if you like Minecraft!

10:14 member only streams as far as I've seen in Holo, it's either for watchalong party, ASMR, very personal talk streams or playing games with your membership viewers, early access for contents that will be release to the public like sneak peek of behind the scene animation or MV or recording, etc. Aside from that joining memberships give you access to their YT stream stamps/stickers/emotes. For some, once a month they release member exclusive wallpaper for you to download and use as well

I don't know how difficult it would be for editing purposes, so may be better to be watched on stream via playlist since they tend to be shorter ~30 second- 1 minute clips/sketches, but, Kanauru, and 2manysnacks are both great animators. Kanauru is a 3d Animator, using the VRchat models you saw in this video, and the official models, as they have done some work officially for hololive. so if you keep an eye out in the credits for songs that use 3d models, there is the possibility, they worked on it. one example is myth or treat , which was a original Halloween song from 2022. some further recs for them are, rap battle, boba shop, and hololive legends. all their videos are so -packed with references though that it may feel overwhelming. 2manysncks, is a more traditional animator, who has a super cool style. some recs, are lord and savior lightning McQueen, eekum bokum, and good night husbands.

I'd Recommend the "Korone English Only Mario!" stream highlights. Korone is a Japanaese Hololive member who has done numerous challenge streams where she has to end the stream if she speaks Japanese. Her English comprehension is pretty good. Her English speaking, not so much. Hilarity ensues.

To comment on member's only streams and what they provide, it's depends on the vtuber and all that. From Fauna, she's done member's only multiplayer streams, a few experimental ASMR, some watchalongs, and zatsudon-like content of just yapping or reading stuff. Shiori's is more of her doing the same in terms of how she is, with more personal talks between her and chat with it being easier to see other's messages. Sometimes in her games that she normally streams, like the current MH, she's allowing some members to play with her, or like her with Hat in Time. Only other few I poked at before were Polka and Okayu's, and they lent themselves to more ASMR or Zatsudon stuff from what I could gather for a month or two of taking a peek.

From the way you reacted to the Pekora and Sana clip, with Sana going about 100 blocks in the air, I think you might be interested in a little fun minecraft fact. Sana didn't get sent very high in reality. If you want to get really high, really fast, you'll need a few things. You'll need some building blocks, at least 5 friends, you are the 6th one, a boat, a pig, a saddle, a carrot on a stick and 5 fishing pole I don't remember the exact height, but I think it's 20 blocks. What you want to do is give your 5 friends a fishing pole each, have them all hook the boat and keep it hooked, build up 20 blocks high, you get on the pig with a saddle and use the carrot on a stick to guide it into the boat. Now, it's important for your friendsto act in around the same second. You get acountdown and, at the end, all of them pull the boat with their fishing rods. With this, you can reach up to 900 blocks height in a few seconds. That's the best way to gain height without abusing the games mechanics like hell.

Welp it's been a while but again welcome to Hololive, it is quite hard but it will be worth it and takes time. You will got more random recomms and get understanding of each member from time to time. I watch Holo members and vtuber in general since 2020 and even then I still learn alot from old clips 😂

Really recommended to check The Begginer's Guide series by Dream World Witch, some video is old and maybe not related anymore nowadays but the video was great and still recommended if you new in this rabbit hole.

Classic memories. There actually were some pretty great compilations of just Among Us streams of that interests you. The girls don't really play it often these days but they got some great content out of the game over the past few years. Oh and Dead by Daylight used to be one of Gura's go to games so you can find a lot of her playing that both by herself and with other members.

That was IRyS that you mistook for Bae, it was her original 1.0 design, which has a pretty different style compared to the rest of the other Hololive EN designs. That design also shows up in older MVs and such, but was retired once the 2.0 design was showcased.

on twitch, subs are for stopping ads, and emotes.. emotes play a big role because you can use those emotes in other peoples channels.. during covid i went around different vtubers and collected headpat and heart/love emotes from different streamers.. on youtube, you cant use emotes from 1 membership in anothers channel, so there needs to be a different incentive... and monthly members only stream is one way to do it.. example, okayu does really spicy ASMR roleplays in her membership streams.. Kaela often shares invite code to her coop games and stuff..
