Great scores! I own an HP 1980B 4 channel with the digital storage option. Very interesting scope, one knob does it all as it is a digitally controlled analog scope. Once you get used to the control concept you will find it a joy to use. Be warned, it does use quite a few zebra strips in the plug-in modules. I beleive HP only built it for a few years to bridge the gap between analog scopes and when they were ready to produce completely digital scopes. Regards, David

I've been pretty impressed on how well this scope works. The HP-IB control language is fairly straight forward making setting this up remotely a breeze. I have a "parts" unit coming that has all the digital options installed, I might be able to simply swap boards and the button panel on the left to upgrade this unit, we'll see. Thanks for watching.
