Edit: I still disagree that the NXT/TNA relationship being one-sided. I get it, NXT has sent their less experience talent while it's the opposite on TNA's side, but I still don't see how it's one-sided since if anything, the AEW/TNA relationship was mostly one-sided.

I think there’s a great chance TNA is finally about to fold and so the reason so much of their big names have hit NXT is to prepare the NXT fans for a major upcoming TNA talent influx the results of Heatwave somewhat support this with Ethan Page being a name brought in partly for being synonymous with companies that aren’t WWE it feels less like a talent exchange more like WWE putting TNA through hospice to gain a sure fire class of pre-trained development wrestlers and some grizzled vets who’ve already had or never got their moment in the sun in an example of talent inheritance
