I never found Del Rio entertaining. I get they wanted a Latin star, but just like Mahal, Del Rio just wasn't on the level of an Eddie, or Rey. He was decent in the ring, but he was over pushed, and worse was the way he essentially ended a far more entertaining star in Ziggler from having a real run. X PAC hear was all I had towards him. Of the the stables mentioned, the two with the most tragic tenures were probably the league of nations and the cabinet. Whereas the former were composed of proven championship-caliber workers but achieved little to no success together, every wrestler in the latter held gold at a shared point in time but were outshined by other wrestlers during that era. Considering that The Truth Commission was based off the Truth and Reconciliation Committee from Apartheid-era South Africa, the fact WWE decided to replace the only South African on the team kind of spelled disaster. I actually liked JBL's Cabinet. The problem was Orlando Jordan was not a big enough star, or personality to be able to survive eating so many pins. He got the U.S title in a fluke victory because Cena was being elevated to the top title. The Bashams wore those Demolition gimp masks, but were never near as dominant. Their title runs were pretty unremarkable. I think all three of the guys could have been elevated if booked a little stronger. JBL himself was never anything but a mid card tag team guy before the Summer of 2004. He got a total makeover, and got over. The cabinet actually helped elevate him.
