Have you tried sanding the two pieces before gluing them? they say that helps it hold together better.

Hello, Yes I tested sanding and roughing up the surface and actually was trying to o the first go around. That’s why I had plywood in the hole to hold the material flat. The second version of this pool, “Remaking…” I used blue PVC glue and primer. It was tricky to use but much stronger. Thanks,

Thanks for the kind words. The deep area is 12’x14’ at the top, and 4’x5’ at the bottom and 3’ deep. I just redid this entire pool and I’m editing the video now. I learned and will be sharing everything. Hope you get a chance to see it. Thanks again,

Better to put a tank in the depth and use tile on the area .

Like a stock tank? That’s interesting idea. Probably would need to use a contact cement to glue it to the pool vinyl. Thanks for the suggestion.

Awesome straight forward informative video. Thank you for helping me avoid mistakes I was sure to make. Best advice? "Avoid a hole getting ripped in the side of your pool" 😂 Loved that part, but sorry that happened, we have ALOT of wind so I worry about whipping it around.

Thank you friend! To avoid wind damage try putting 2X10 or some kind of long heavy lumber around the inside perimeter so the wind can't get under it. I even put 5 gallon buckets with water on top of the boards for additional weight. Then just dump them out into the pool. Hope this helps and thanks again,
