Your ruffle top is too cute! Maybe you could make a matching scrunchie or a water bottle holder (if there is enough in the skein for that) with the other ball of yarn…? I like making scrunchies with the cotton yarn, because they are machine washable.

I do the same thing with my hair. Cut it to collarbone length and then let it grow til I can't stand it anymore. My hair is about the same color as yours and pretty fine so there's not much I can do stylewise except let it be long, shiny, and straight.
