I think that thin white fluffy yarn would look so cute in one of your double stranded beanies though! The scrunchie is cute but I get if it's too thick, especially bc it will need to twist. (tbh the baby velvet may make cute beanies/headbands too)

I was watching vlogmas with my mom while she was in the hospital, every time at the end of the video she would ask me how to like or thumbs up the video because she really like the videos. I told her I already had that part taken care of lol. On a side note, I also really enjoy the videos on this channel. I’ve been making scrunchies like crazy getting ready for a market. But I was selling them as I made them. I’ve made $75 so far and I can’t wait to see what I sell at the fair and the market!

Those new white tags are so pretty and I think the neutrality will pair well with so many projects. As for you getting overwhelmed with custom orders as we seen last year, Maybe you should only have them open every other month this year. The off months you can build stock for your drops without the stress of custom orders on top of that. That could give you a nice break regularly.

hi kelsie! i use the bernat velvet for earwarmers but i do think the baby velvet will work perfect for that. they are very warm and soft when done. (my best sellers are shockingly the earwarmers and not the scrunchies😂)

For double stranding the scrunchies, would it possibly work better if you put less sc into the hairtie and use a shorter stitch? Such as using dc instead if you normally use tr, and if you need to put more stitches into one sc because the lower amount in the hairtie, that might work too (such as 4 dc in one sc rather than 3 tr in one sc, if you're using significantly less sc in the band).

I was looking at my velvet crushed yarn by Bernat. They used 3 strands of thin velvet yarn. So I think doubling the baby velvets will do well. I have a ton of them and I thought about doubling mine up and see because you get a lot of yardage.

Heads up to anyone who sees this and likes to shop at Joann ⚠️ Joann stores might be closed indefinitely, due to a massive amount of debt, if they cannot find someone willing to buy the company by March 15th of this year. With how this year is going so far I’m not confident that Joann will survive (but I’m still holding out hope). It might be a good idea to find alternative yarn stores to get yarn from for future crafting.
