Right, the gallo was the 1st crazy op wepond that's not a wonder wepond, than got nerfed and the hauer took its place. Than the hauer got nerfed and back and forth between them lol. I was hoping the iron hide was going to be meta changing, with it fired way faster than would have been more usable

@@bonafide9516 Right… I was looking forward to always running the ironhide changing it up from the hauer or gallo. Its not terrible but its the fire rate that hinders it. I had fun using it while getting DA on it though. It hits hard with task force barrel but that fire rate though. It’ll just be a weapon i run every now and then, hardly get touched sadly.

fun fact/pro tip: The M79 is faster when using stockpile. so shoot its bullets until empty then pop ring of fire to spam! helpful for abomination rounds!

I love how the M79, the Thumper, the China Lake, whatever you'd like to call it, went from one of the less-good weapons in the game, up to outclassing the Raygun, once considered to be Cold Wars best zombies gun. I'm just astounded and very happy because I said from Day 1 M79 was good no matter how much my friends told me it was shit. I am now the smart man.

So I’ve loved using the m79 since season one. The main thing this weapon does is create a knock back effect to zombies. Yes it does have a pretty good blast radius but the knock back effect (knocking zombies on their butt) is where this weapon outperforms.

The thing about this is, you could easily do this before phd slider in the penthouse spot on die machine. Theres a spot you can shoot in between the two closest spawns that it won't damage you but it will damage the zombies at both apawns.

I've been using the pack a punched M79 since January can't believe people overlooked it. This special weapon is useful in penthouse, office in Firebase, bottom Wunderfuzz area in Mauer and the blue hallway area in Forsaken near pack a punch teleporter.

I decided to try this on maur der toten to see if it made high rounding on the other maps easier and it turns out you can spam the m79 into the sewer Easter egg to get the kazmir grenade instead of having to use stuns or grenades. Got all three kazmir grenades in 30 seconds

The reason the thumper is good is because the fact that it stuns all the zombies for a good 5 seconds and you can just put so much damage in during that time

Lego my fav trick in forsaken with the thumper is just to sit next to the teleporter in spawn till round 10 knifing all the zombies, if you dont move you wont lunge so its pretty quick, plus if you get a double points you can easily get about 30k in under 4 mins, then its smooth sailing from there as you can easily just go and buy PHD and PAP with those points. Also leave the rampage inducer OFF for this strat. For the abomination i usually just buy a hand cannon (only 50 blue) and as long as you are accurate and hit all 3 heads it will kill em no problem. Also if you use ROF with only 1 bullet left in the mag, you can shoot WAYYYYYYY faster than if you have 2 or 3. Useful for nuking abominations.

Just got a braindead round 100 with this camping in the Ronald Ray Gun closet. Crafted only Gersh Devices and Flamethrowers. The Flamethrower is for the Abominations. In ROF, it insta kills them. And put Brain Rot on the M79. Tempests, Abominations, and Mimics all take more damage from Brain Rot. Brain Rot also turns every special zombie (so every boss besides the Abomination). For lethals, Semtexes are the best for sure. Very cheap, and helps ROF charge.

I took the M79 for a spin today and it's absolutely devastating. For the first few rounds, I just used the knife and bought a Gallo off the wall later. Once the M79 is PAP, and you have PhD, you can go on forever.

Yeah, you literally take NO damage from it. It's broken as absolute hell! Even the RPG-7 has the exact same buff, given that it's slower! You could go up to Round 70 or 80 if you know where to train and how to deal with all the Specials & Elites.

The best combo is m79 but use the RPG with your ROF if you ADS you can empty 42 shells from the rpg in one ROF pop. It's insane.. I got through round 65+ killing one abomination is less than 90seconds camping on top of the truck in spawn

Round 65 yesterday it was my first time playing the map and I accidentally used the m79 when picking a gun to start also a good spot to camp is go in the spawn room there is on the left a container where you can climb up just use the m79 to shoot at the ground and your golden since there are no spawns behind you

The thumper has always be OP i new that the moment I started to work on it during my Dark Aeather grind when the game first launched, only thing that made it annoying was the splash damage was so high you could hardly use it, it’s sucks it took about a year to release phD-S, especially once Vanguard drops I’m not gonna touch ColdWar…
