They need to help these people, there’s abandoned buildings in fort William off Simpson st where a lot of people can move into for help.

If you talk to those camping. Most are indigenous from Alberta or elsewhere displaced after fire excavation or came for medical care. Some were arrested and abandoned by police hours from home.

how can the homelessness be systemic racism? when indigenous people have more programs and more opportunities, plus a tax break then non-indigenous. to be blunt it all comes down to substance abuse to much relax justice system like Gladue Courts public intoxication is a federal crime in Canada, but it is only punishable on summary conviction carrying a maximum of six months in jail repeat offenders should stay longer and should be set to a higher standards of the law

just random cases of substance abuse?? It's linked to intergenerational trauma from residential schools. Only recently has Canada shifted its racist ideologies towards Indigenous people. Economic opportunities and tax breaks do not fully counterbalance the impacts of historical injustices and ongoing discrimination.

@@wyler9534 call me racist but I think it’s a slap in the face you’re still using that. You shouldn’t be paid for the death of other people. If you’re a grown adult, you move on not forget.

And you say that. Judging and you don't even have. A profile picture. The audacity. People are so funny.😂 But I understand where you're coming from. We all have choices in life.

I would like to see this person try to live outside homeless with no friends and family to help them and have dirty clothes on to see how they are treated towards others. People have to think about what a struggle it is for the ones that have to live outside and what they go through. Housing is expensive and for those that can’t afford it the landlord always finds ways to bash them so other landlords red flag them and then they can’t get a place after that and I get addiction is out there too but still people are not choosing to keep doing it they are stuck in it, they don’t love the life they are living they have to do it to feel normal but people don’t get how hard it is for addicts to stop. It’s a lonely life and some people get the help from others but some don’t.

..."systemic racism"...lol Sorry, but show us a real example. Like maybe art galleries, tennis courts, soccer fields and sportsplexes come first before the poor get anything?
