Hey hang in there My wife has been going to a clinic for about three years now New stuff all the time some a plus some not so good. But the sun still shines and life goes on. And being a former farmer for 49 years we know that all things serve his purpose. Bless you both as well.as Dougo and thanks for the smiles and the smell of diesel fumes in the morning. God Bless

It makes me realise how much money we save in the UK by having potable water available from the tap, (faucet). Saves recycling all those plastic bottles too. Nice to see you keeping your machines happy, those hub leaks are a tricky call, some you win, some you lose. Best wishes to Nicole...

Thanks for the video Chet. Wow. That is a lot of water. That will hold all of you for a while. You do an excellent job on servicing your equipment and checks by the dealership. That kind of effort always pays you good return on your equipment. Our tractors looked like new all the time. Keeping equipment in good condition is important to the grain operation. Your shop is wonderful to work in. Helps in getting the job done. Thanks to Nicole for editing and trust you are doing well. Thanks again for letting us follow along. Iowa farm boy from years ago.

Another banger of a video👍👍 !!! Chet tinfoil works great when trying not to make a huge mess with the tough to reach filters. Put it tightly around the bottom of the filter and flare it out about half way up to catch the spilling fluid. Another way is to wrap it around the stuff underneath the filter to keep the tractor 🚜 clean. Also, Nikki keep knocking it out of the park with the editing, stay strong 💪 and im sending prayers from upstate NY !!!!

Get some silco firesleeve to protect the rub points. Since it's a silicone outer layer, it won't actually show much if any wear. It's actual use is to heat protect flexible fluid lines but I don't think you have many hot areas to worry about, unlike aircraft. Also get yourself a Form-A-Funnel. If you position it under the filter, you can direct the overflow away from obstacles before it dumps into your drain tray.

Share some advice I got from back in the day when I turned wrenches on Semis. When changing filters puncture the bottom of the filter before removing and let drain into the catch pan. It doesn't get oil everywhere when taking the filter off. Truckers with the very well dressed up trucks really appreciated that when I would change their oil on there rigs. Just my 2 cent idea.

Chet you were checking the hydraulic hoses on the quad undercarriage. Just wondering if you took like a hose that goes from a milking unit to the pipeline cut what length you need slit it open on one side and wrap around then either zip ties or duct tape it to prevent the hydraulic hoses from rubbing.
