bro, i dont know what HE said, but even thou youtube only gets to 8k, sometimes it looks better to shoot 12k and watch it in 8k mode, compared to shooting 8k and choosing 8k. Now, same happens when you shoot in 4k and then render in 1080p. THAT VIDEO will look better than been shot 1080p and rendering 1080p. SO, anyways, if you understood this, then the FINAL FACTOR HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTAN ONE: You can shoot in 2k, 4k, 6k, 8k, 29k, whatever, but if your monitor or TV is only 720p YOU ARE NOT going to enjoy the image whatsoever...... so, also, DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WITH 8k tv? so this means that a high percentage of people are watching this 8k video on a 4k display. ..... BUT, as explained before, even if your display is only 4k, you can really see more detail and vibrancy on 8k or 12k videos, even on a 4k monitor...... WOW man, is this a mess? yes, some people think they are watching 4k videos on mobile phones that are only 2.7k max display..... bummer... some people still dont understand this, YOU NEED A 4k MONITOR to WATCH 4k VIDEOS, lol. if you use a 1080p display to watch 4k, is not TRUE 4k display, but yes it will look better than a regular 1080p video. after watching this video, i see many issues... i believe they filmed different scenes with different cameras (obvious) and different settings, you have aerial footage and you have MACRO footage, you can see some "jitter" or "choppy panning on some scenes, and other scenes DO NOT show that, which may be that some scenes were recorder at a different fps than others,? dont know.....

Beautiful content 😍 I would like to ask you something about editing in Adobe premier pro how do you get HDR content. How do you upload it? Because i shoot with my iPhone 12 4K 30 FPS but I don’t understand how you get HDR content as a end result.🙂 * Update* I've left premiere pro for what it is and I'm working through Lumafusion from now on. Lumafusion has 3 different HDR: HDR HLG / HDR10 / HDR P3 D65. HDR 10 is what your iPhone records by default. But that does not necessarily mean that HDR content is compatible for all OLED screens. I save my HDR projects under HDR HLG for the best image quality for all devices. After all, I sold my Iphone 12 and got the IPhone 12 Pro Max instead. Now I record my projects in 60 FPS I am very happy with the arrival of the Iphone 12 models. I am curious what Apple will launch in the future with the arrival of Iphone 13.🥸

FILMED in 12k buddy, still you are right, youtube only allows 8k. but many videos look better when filmed on a higher quality, than using the original quality. ..... just saying. PLUS, if your monitor is only 4k, then also there is no much difference than watching this in 4k..... I'm watching this video playing back on my 3K resolution Apple 16 inch 2020 MacBook Pro screen with the AMD Radeon 5600M GPU with 8GB of HBM2 on board video memory and this video looks horrible ! Total crap ! It's like watching a video where there's too much colour saturation and the image density and contrast is off about 30 % ! Yuck ! I would have thought this might have looked much better than it does. I guess HDR be viewed on a full video gammit HDR screen, or else it falls apart. Not a very flexible video format is it ????
