To your point of their Ice Powers,I also couldn't believe how so many people didn't notice the difference between their powers. Like I know, I couldn't be the only one who noticed how Elsa's power is refined and controlled,while Jack's power is wild and free. Elsa is the opposite of what winter should be while Jack is what winter is,that's why besides having the same powers,they are still different. Also we have to keep in mind that while Elsa compliments winter with control and beauty,Jack is the barrel of storms and blizzards,Elsa defy's winter,Jack is the impression of winter itself.

Not gonna lie, your in depth analysis of their ice powers and how it connects to them on a core level amazed me! Even myself, who often analyzed their powers, never even thought of such things! Both videos are honestly so insightful and funny to watch. I wanted to mention how I like that Elsa's symmetrical, flawless power is not just pretty in line with her personality, but references the original tale, The Snow Queen that it's based on, as in that story Kay is drawn to snowflakes (and by that to the Snow Queen), because of their perfectness. (I love The Snow Queen so much I might just write down an essay of comparisons at some point) Also good luck with med school! It's a ruthless path, but so worth it!

Loving your Jack redesign! I also want to share a ittle idea that came to me. When I saw Elsa's eyes in the Lorcana design, it almost looked like she could be blind (like there's no dark puple and only a cloudy-like color, which for my character design knowledge that I've developed through the year, cloudy eyes could indicate blindness) SOOO what if for sometime Elsa and Jack got to know each other and they've encountered Pitch OR Elsa went to find something she wasn't suppose to and encountered Pitch, what if Pitch attacked Elsa and blinds her? SO now Jack has to take care of Elsa and it could also be something for Elsa's new arch as, not only a spirit guardian but also as some sort of keeper of knowledge or time or whatever but because of her blindness, it shows how powerful time or knowledge can be or the price of knowing something, You'll lose a peice of yourself or a bit of yourself??? Just though to put a spice or two to the cauldron. Absolutely loving it all!!

@@doveamor so, nowadays, instead of diagnosing the victim, we diagnose the behavior of the abuser. There's some things that can be depending on the situation, grooming is commonly used in behavior that adults do on kids, trauma bonding is the best term that substitute Stockholm syndrome really well, there's one I don't remember well that includes love bombing, gaslighting and other stuff to the victim to make them stay. Basically, in the syndrome, there was no explanation for why the victim was preferring the abuser, which is not how things work, I'll use the example that created the term: if the robbers of the bank that kept you as refains(?) treated you with much more respect than when you finally got safe with the cops, which to the recount of the victims, said they were really rude (which we now how cops can get), then the problem here is not you, it's the cops managing to be worse than the criminals. But now in individual examples, in our daily life, abusers tend to do stuff to keep us in, it's not a thing that our brain naturally does to get used to them, it's THEM actively manipulating us into staying. That's why I don't like the term, personally it feels kind of victim blame-y, because the abuser should be the one being shunned for making this person want to stay, not the victim.
