Expedition Overland

Expedition Overland

Күн бұрын

The crew picks up returning expedition members Ryan Erickson and Ty Heaps and takes a few days to explore as the expedition goes through a major transition. The girls hand off their responsibilities to the new members and some of the team gets thrown in the deep end! Theres always a first time for everything, hopefully the truck doesn't take the brunt of it...

Backpacked when I was young. Have just started 4 wheeling at the age of 50. Did it all 2wd before. Now 2007 4Runner with a 4.0 v6, a series 2 Icon 3" lift and other amenities. Loving it. Used to consider myself somewhat of a mountain man but definitely an outdoorsman. With age you slow down a bit. Bad knees and a bad back wouldn't allow me to do what you are doing. Watching your videos brings all the dreams alive again though. Really enjoy it. Still out there camping... just no more tents. Using an ultralight Travel trailer now. But love the outdoors. Thanks for being who you are and letting us get a glimpse of what you do. And especially for showing the God side of you. It is nice to see something of this quality that doesn't have a bunch of beeping due to fowl language. Thank again and keep it real.

4 Wheel Drive and ARB Air Lockers are great but when your tires pack up with mud and dirt like I have seen them do in several of your videos and you have issues crossing not all that deep water due to traction issues you need a more aggressive tread on your trucks. Instead of a AT style tire you need to go to a MT tire. The MT tires are not so aggressive as to kill gas mileage but offer better all terrain traction than AT tires do. They also tend to be more resistant to punctures. Just my two cents. Enjoying the videos.... keep them up.

Good video guys! Though in some parts, e.g. the in-car interviews, the audio wasn't that good. Road and wind noise were making some parts a bit difficult to comprehend. Gotta keep an ear open for that during production. Another lesson for the next adventure. And i hope there'll be more.

777fuzzypeach If you watch their earlier adventures, there are several conspicuous shots of Goodyears. I think maybe Goodyear is so full of themselves that they don't have any interest in sponsoring something that doesn't drive on a road track or oval track at 150 mph. If Goodyear wouldn't play ball, then use the tires from whomever was willing to sponsor. Besides, I have know several tire manufacturers that OWN a niche market, but their product in other markets are crap. Firestone makes great tires for OTR and commercial trucks, don't want them on my Honda Accord. Goodyear makes great tires for the 'vette, but BF Goodrich has been better to me for my SUV and Accord. Maybe for their purpose, General makes sense. They don't seem to have tire issues, assuming that those things aren't entirely edited out. JMHO.

Craig Sanderson The new Goodrich AllTerrain's blow this General trash away. The sidewalls are vastly improved over the previous versions. This entire series of videos is far too dependent on sponsors. They are over equipped to the point of nausea. Several clear examples of failure of the sponsor provided equipment are shown, yet it continues to be used. For obvious reasons.

This episode rubbed me the wrong way for clay and this group. They're making fun of families getting out and experiencing this country. Driving with a travel trailer can bring families together and build memories. And I have watched the other seasons and they'd have shown their boys in some episodes but have not brought them on any trips, at least they haven shown it on KZbin. Maybe their just private with them but still watching RVing Chanel's has proven to me that they are more family oriented.
