In today's video I take on the job of replacing the old gutters that has been up there for about 30 years. It was a really tough job. Hope you enjoy!

As a carpenter I can tell you that you are a legend and legends to me are those that don't quit and most of all you don't get someone else to finish what you started. Parents had a lot of faith u had the right stuff to do the job and that's one of the biggest compliment a child can ever from mum & dad. In aussie, mates rates that job would have cost a carton of piss $50-$60 or anyone else provided they wanted an invoice to claim tax. Labour + Travel + Tools and Equipment $120-$170 for 30 minutes. That's just an estimate with the owner supplying the gutter, stopends, joiners,clips and downpipe.

Perfect timing just came in from mowing our 5 side acres and bam your video pops up , don’t complain about the rain we need it here in south Texas hasn’t rain much here in months , please get a full face shield for when you use those metal cutting disk those disk can really mess up you face

Awesome job,job satisfaction as you say,remember anybody can pay someone to do a job,not everyone can set to and do it so well done as always. Just remember those sparks from the grinder are not friendly to tractor windows and phone screens come cameras etc good to see you wear safety glasses.

Tips, dont push hard on the grinder let it do the work, 2nd id get some gloves on, the amount of times ive sliced my hand, figer or forearm on sharp metal when grinding is unreal so i always glove up now. Again though your grit and determination when doing jobs is absolutely fantastic

Grand job if you havnt messed around wth diff tools b4 its hard to work out the little tricks to make it easy but your getting there you now know how to drill screws in on an angle

Karen a having a hissy fit half way through a awkward job is perfactly acceptable. Anyone who undertakes practical work has their way of letting off steam. On the topic of broken angle grinder discs, thats why I always keep a good stock of new discs. A quick check is always made of how many I have in stock when planning jobs. Its alway a treat to see your happy smiling face 😊
