As an ARMY since 2013, I have witnessed them be hated by everyone and it was really hard to stand up for them at that time before. When BTS are rookies, those K-pop fans always have something to say. Now that they're the most relevant in the industry, K-pop fans are now calling them irrelevant and overrated. The thing between K-pop fans and ARMYs is not just a normal fan vs fan argument now. They actually go beyond the line and it's scary. I can write a novel and a timeline of screenshots of how disgusting they can get. Used to be hated by the K-media, hated and still hated by K-pop fans (you haven't seen the hate from facebook yet. K-pop fans in my country are 10 times crazier than the ones we normally argue with on Twitter), hated by the western media, hated and still hated by non-kpop fans. In short, everyone that is not an ARMY and not a K-pop fan with an open mind hates them.

The 'They never learn' saga continues with the most recent one being haters saying Billboard Hot100 chart irrelevant and inorganic since bts got their first #1 and claiming that Rolling Stone 100 Songs Chart is the only legit and organic chart when Butter landed no.2 on the chart ((which wasn't bad at all but of course they will celebrate bts not getting no.1 rather than celebrate their favourite artists getting no.1)).. But they never learn, My Universe just earned their #1 on Rolling Stone 100 Songs Chart, the most organic chart like everyone claimed, proving BTS is indeed organic. The way the universe keeps proving them wrong but they never learn.

They still get these tweets saying "nowadays it's easy to get Hot 100 it has lost its value not like Beatles" or "imagine giving all the money to your rich favs how sad". With them the limits get higher

Exactly Shiki, if the person making this video at the time could have seen into the future, they would be even more impressed, they just keep going from strength to strength. Must be so annoying being a hater, they were already loved by their President but then making them Special Envoys, wow, what an honour. Actually getting to travel with the President and First Lady, accompanying them to different events and getting to speak again (and perform in the Assembly Room). So proud of them and so proud to be an ARMY.

I don't know why people fall for these things. I am sure BTS are not the only ones "hated" or attacked. Unfortunately, it is part and parcel of being famous. I don't waste my time listening to these sort of things or buying into it (the debate and getting upset) because it doesn't matter or change how I feel about them. Just giving life and attention to these negativity is what they seek. Ignore it. BTS is big business and they are grown men, they can fend for themselves. If you go through life expecting everyone to like you because you are famous, talented or a good person, you'll be disappointed. Focus and concentrate on the good things BTS does. Respect those that don't like them. Why get upset or worked up over it? Trying to defend it is pointless. Hate breeds hate. Their success says it all. Everyone has the right to like or dislike. It does not equate to "hate". Personally, I hate it when post videos like these. They are narrative driven. I think it is fair to say that there are more people in the world who like BTS than those that don't. Their success says it all, does it not?

"Everyone have right to like and dislike" I don't see anything in the video invalidating that rights. People can have opinion and preference but it doesn't give them free pass to be rude and malicious towards others. "Respect those that don't like them" Well as human beings we respect people in general. But these people don't have any respect towards others in the first place, if you want respect you gotta show respect. I wouldn't be smiling at someone that spit at me. "unfortunately it is part and parcel of being famous" you're saying just because they're famous they should suck it up. perhaps you should listen to Ugh if you haven't and read the lyrics. You sure wrote a lot and seem like you had a long deep thought about 'these sort of thing that you don't waste time listening to'. Why bother? Could have just skip and let people watch whatever they want. Don't you think it's a bit contradicting with people's rights to prefer that you were so adamant about. You're just being an example of how the haters act, spending time on something you don't like. The video is just for entertainment, It's funny to see people fooling themselves on internet, it's not anyone's fault if you don't find that entertaining, it's just not for you. Oh and fyi, Shiki is also a grown man, he knows what's he's doing. I don't see him hating anyone, he's just saying his commentary and sharing his thoughts as a reactor would. We won't keep quiet because antis/haters don't stop invalidating and discrediting BTS hard-earned success. Antis continue to revise history. Too bad for antis, ARMYs love keeping receipts. Even with all their success, BTS still gets targeted with smear campaigns and made up 'controversies' so no, we won't stop defending them from the music industries and communities that hunger for BTS' downfall. We will stop only when BTS themselves is done with the spotlight..until then we will continue to speak out. We are just defending BTS/ourselves... If people wanted peace they shouldn't provoked us considering everyone knows ARMYs reputation by now. ARMYs are only returning the same energy. We'll be toxic when people are toxic to BTS.
