The crazy thing is people right now are commenting on all his instagram posts. People who say they’re Army are demanding he speak up on the whole Palestine ordeal and it’s like dude let this man freaking do his service. Real Army wouldn’t push such a huge controversy like that onto them like they’re everyone’s saviors or something, especially when things are already so tense with them away serving in Hybe etc. It’s so annoying, he literally said on his album exchange video that he’s just a 29 year old guy who lives a different live than most. It was sad hearing him talk about how he almost wanted to die at the expectations pushed on him constantly… they all deserve to rest as much as possible :( Sorry for the long reply, I just got a bit fed up bc it’s like people just completely ignore the deeper meanings in their music while claiming their care so much about them.

Bro I love this reaction, as a fellow dude bts fan and hip hop fan I had the same reactions, the album is simply amazing straight up. And its not even glazing, RM is just that dude and deserves his flowers fr Also what you said about RM making his own sound inspired by Tyler, Tyler was inspired by N.E.R.D. (Pharrel Williams group). You should check out the song "Deep Down Body Thurst" by N.E.R.D., which sounds like LOST! and came out 2 years before Igor. Pharrell interviewed RM in 2022 so he was definitely inspired by him and Tyler There's also a Korean group named Balming Tiger who RM worked with on this album, they also have that sound inspired by N.E.R.D. Awesome reaction bro you're hilarious, instantly subscribed 🙏

The thing people don't understand is that BTS is popular because they are actually very talented, and hard-working and they're good at what they do, they really deserve more mainstream love globally. BTS is not K-pop anymore. Thanks for your sincere reaction. Yes, Nam is pissed of being labelled. It makes him bitter and i guess this was one of the reasons he wanted to quit at some point. This pause was much needed on his side as he felt like a prisoner somehow. He needed his space of free speech and behavior, because in the K-pop frame everything needs to be polished and impeccable and clean.

By the way, I'm assuming since you are ARMY, you already checked out V's album Layover. I really feel like the creepy show hosts in the Lost MV are representations of how fake tv and radio hosts have been to BTS. We see it more often in America with hosts being super chill to their face, then talking about then behind their backs. But even when RM's right there at the end, after he's performed and done what he needed to do, suddenly the 'use' for him is gone and so the act of pretending to like him is gone too. Maybe I'm reading way too much into that but that's how it came off to me.

That's how I took it as well. There's also a distinct difference in how they act when they speak English compared to when they speak Korean. Not sure what it could mean but that's what I noticed. Maybe Korean hosts tend to act overly (and fakely) enthusiastic while English-speaking hosts tend not to be very subtle in their disinterest?

And for me I wasn’t sure I liked Domodachi but now after hearing it multiple times and seeing the MV, I’m damn near obsessed with it and find myself singing the chorus “All friends, lets dance” throughout the day lol. Namjoon literally makes me wanna learn Korean and Japnese now 😭 54:40 I mean that’s fair but for me it’s so comforting. "Right Place, Wrong Person" are philosophical and psychological songs reflecting the emotions that each of us experiences at a specific moment in life, in response to: intolerance, meanness, understatements, wickedness, cruelty, callousness, despotism, meanness, persecution, ruthlessness, Man then he feels lost, hurt, betrayed, broken. He cannot find a suitable place for himself in a world where good is mixed with evil. The content of the songs is very deep and carefully selected music complements a very important message for the world. This is a very ambitious RM project that deserves a Grammy Award.

39:00 I've never listened to Tyler, my 1st impression from this video right away was that it had Balming Tiger all over it which makes complete sense since the creative director for Team RM is San Yawn from the Balming Tiger collective. Now, I don't know who their influences are, but it's the same team that RM featured on for Sexy Nukim. You're not the 1st reactor I've seen name Tyler though...for me it's just very reminiscent of music I listened to in the early to mid 2010s.

Listen to Balming Tiger. They produced this whole album. In a phrase they're like a Korean Brockhampton.

I'm strongly suggesting you listen to this album from the first track to last uninterrupted by all the ads; they really ruined the transitions between each track!! The seamless journey between one to another track is a musical experience by itself.
