good deal, always good to have more adjustability in the suspension!

Not sure what your doing with the old rear leafs, but I'd be interested in buying them. Possibly list them on ls1tech? As far as weight, I've seen guys just weld a bar under the back, and use just weight lifting weights bought off marketplace cheap, with a bolt holding them in, really simple and easily changed. Also, really dig you sharing your journey with the truck!

I’ll probably sell them

I built a square tube and filled it full of lead. Its about 80lbs. Do a few different sizes and you can change them out depending what weight you need. You can also mount some studs in the bed and bolt them down to it. Then you don't have to worry about them shifting or anything

One day when my fabrication skills beg better I want to set up a few spots through the bed where I can bolt weight down in different locations to get the bias right

@@RegularGuyGarage I made some that were 50 lb each before and put small u-bolts through them and could bolt them right around the roll cage. That would probably work best for what you need right now due to the limited space. I've seen guys fill the tubing with concrete even because it's cheaper than all that lead

Try placing yer extra weight infront if the rear axle. Works much better then against the tail gate

Go to a shock specialist. A) have your shocks tuned to your combo B) have them set you up with a set that is suited for your combo.

See if you can get your hands on some old lead wheel weights! Can melt it down and pour in to some square tube or old valve covers!

That’s a great idea, thanks!
