More than 100 people killed in Myanmar, caused by remnants of Typhoon Yagi

More than 320,000 people in Myanmar are picking up the pieces after being hit by Typhoon Yagi. The storm swept across the country, leaving more than 100 people dead. However, local reports suggest the true death toll may be far higher than official estimates. Scores of people are missing. CNA’s Min Kyi Thein finds out how the residents are coping as the country reels from the natural disaster.

I think the actual death toll may be more than a thousand. My fri from the civilian rescue team from there told me they found there was even a village that only remains more than 75 from total population of more than three hundreds .Due to the lack of response and lack of emergency information from authorities, ( half of more than 300 townships in Myanmar cannot access the internet due to undergoing political conflict , maybe they thought this is a normal rainy day ) so the actual number is definitely more than that f**king state media said . In 2008, there are more than hundreds thousand of deaths due to cyclone Nargis ,but state media told the world there're only hundreds of people died.I went to Ayeyarwady region with my foster-father,a monk, to donate rice and clothes I found dead bodies that are floating are everywhere . Some dead bodies are hung on the tall trees .I vomited a lot and had a hard time eating. ( U know it was more than a month after the cyclone strike there but corpses still exist everywhere) .Donations from Japan and other countries gave some people to get to start up capitals to become future millionaires but actual disaster victims got moldy rice bags that are thrown from helicopters onto the muddy ground.
