I would guess he is more focused on recovery after his injury. Also it takes a lot of effort to produce quality videos and at his scale it makes hardly any monetary profit.

@@Spazik86 well lets be honest people retire after injury and we all know evans injury wasnt small. hes good bodybuilder but year after year even better bodybuilders are coming and its hard for him to even come close to top 5... it would be smarter for him to focus on youtube and make people smart and this way even get few people to coach... unless he doesnt like that work.. than i understand him. some people are better spokepersons than athletes (evan,kai,palumbo..).. some are better athletes than spokepersons ( phil)

In all the years i've been following Evan, this is probably the mose 'loose' i've seen him in front of a camera doing a travel/eating/nutrition related vid :D Thoroughly enjoyed this. Having been to Germany several times myself, I can deff get into this one a bit more :) Excellent points midway and towards the end. Just so long as 80-90-% of the week (or day) is locked in with more nutrient dense meals (or whatever diet you may follow) these few meals that aren't usually on your list, will NOT derail you at all. Assuming one is offseason :p

You are in a foreign country with full of new things to taste. Don't worry about your calorie consumption for a week. I'm not suggesting you to go out and eat every single different candy bar out there but don't ruin your journey and experience because of "calories".

Exactly. And plus, with all of the walking you do you're burning so much more than you would be at home and you'll barely gain weight. When I went to Japan I tried everything and came back 5 pounds less. I was walking like 15-20 miles a day though through the towns. Everything is in a walkable distance.

Evan your meal prep and shopping videos opened my eyes. I used to just shop by what I wanted to eat. Now I shop by what I need to eat and I came to a conclusion. Dieting tastes so much better when you save 20 dollars and have almost 3 days worth of additional food. I'm buying larger quantities at a lower price. Yes it takes additional work in the kitchen with meal prep but it's worth it.

3:30 I think more people need to understand this. I was criticized by "dieters" at work for eating like this every once and awhile and always found it funny. I go to the gym 5/6 days a week for lifting/cardio and 98% of my meals are like Evan's on season meals. Found it funny because those critics who could Never eat Anything they deemed unhealthy Never stuck with their crash diets. Ended the same way for all of them. They gave up on their diet then gained weight back. I'm still going strong however after 2.5 years. Lost 40 lbs, strength way up. Thanks Evan, love your Videos
