As someone who works in the transportation industry I can assure you that most all water has been subject to fairly hot temperatures especially in the summer. I live in a western state that sees 90+ degrees during the summer with a handful of days over 100. We have trailer loads of bottled water on pallets sitting in the sun sometimes for weeks on end. Our supplier ships out of Texas through New Mexico and up through southern Utah. All on non-refrigerated “dry vans” as they are called (normal non refrigerated semi trailers). In the summer those trailers easily reach over 100 degrees while traveling to their destination. I would say unless you know for sure that your water is being shipped on a refrigerated trailer (I would bet none is due to cost) that every bottle of water you drink has seen high temps at least in the summer time (trailers reach well into the 100s in the summer). So sitting in your trunk for a few hours after you get home is more than likely nothing compared to the journey that case of water has been on to get to your local grocery store. Not to be Debbie Downer.

the thing about europe is that specially in scandinavia the rules are strict with the tap water so the tap water is quite good so when people buy water the want some thing extra for their money and mineral water does that ..........what do you think about about metal containers (metal drinking bottles like a metal shaker or some thing similar)

The water here in Tallinn they use chlorine, and when you take tap water you can smell right the way the chlorine because it's so strong.
@CL-ty6wp Жыл бұрын
yea thats bad. You shouldn't even be able to smell chlorine in a swimming pool.
@aimps19 Жыл бұрын
@@CL-ty6wp Yea, they purify the water that way. I am not living in Tallinn thank god for that, here where I live is decent tap water without the chlorine smell and taste. But some of my friends who live in Tallinn they buy bottled water from the stores.

Long story short: drink glass bottled water, minerals and ph aren't the main focus, just avoid plastic since it's estrogenic and obesogenic, and make sure it's from clean sources. (Even though it is expensive, Gerolsteiner and mountain valley taste the best and have the best mineral content)

Great stuff Evan. Ad a European I feel like tap water isn't the greatest quality In certain parts. Most people still drink it though. Is that why they have jacked up teeth? I don't know. Although in restaurants the water is more expensive than beer. Choose wisely

In our country we have a local mineral water company with mineral composition mg/l as follows: Na - 1727mg Mg - 240mg Cl - 3480mg HCO3 (bicarbonate) - 300mg K - 32mg CA - 552mg SO4 - 989mg Overall concentration of dissolved substances: 7309 mg/l The only drawback is that it's quite high in sodium. Wish they could somehow be able to reduce sodium content without affecting other elements. But it probably wouldn't be natural mineral water anymore. Anyway, compared to most popular international mineral water companies, it blows them all out of the water (no pun intended). I'm actually very surprised. And it costs like $0.5 per liter. I never truly appreciated or cared that much about our local brand and their water. Until this video. Since I could compare it with 5x more expensive ones that are not only way overpriced but also have worse composition.

Evan, would love you hear an updated thought process toward water quality and choices with the PFC's in mind. It doesn't have to be as in depth maybe a refresher of updated thoughts with a tier of options/prices. There is some pretty nasty stuff in water these days wonder - if RO with remineralization might be more viable, just a thought.
