Like him or not, you have to hand it to him, he's a clever guy. I've watched most of his recordings and his research is very in depth. He has succeeded in totally drawing together all the threads he pulled out in a most convincing, eloquent and often humourous fashion. I have read some of the derisory comments below and get the feeling that 'truth hurts'- that those who penned them are smarting from being stung. I myself changed onto a vegan diet, - over the course of the last 13 months to being a total convert now for about 2-3 months - and my blood tests and health checks in general have altered - been in the course of altering - for the better, to an extent not to be ignored - and I wasn't a 'fat slob fast foody junk-fooder' before either. No, as I wrote at the beginning, like him or not, like what he says or not, - it is all true. Ignore at your peril.

This has to be one of the best, and most amusing and riveting nutrition lectures I have ever heard. Everybody, and I mean everybody - medical professionals and members of the public alike, should see this. It should certainly be required viewing in every medical school, and at as many conferences for existing professionals as possible. A must see!

I think it's malpractice not to put your patients on a plant based diet. Doctors are like most people, they don't like change. Most are very intelligent in certain areas of life (i.e., math & sciences) but certainly not in every area. .

So many positive things are said of this man and other practitioners, and they have. Trust your own instincts and change to a plant based diet. This will never be mainstream thinking because there is so much money driving the status quo. As individuals we have a choice, that choice will never be supported by the mainstream. We will be called crazy but the quality of our like, the one thing we have control over will be better and as we age that difference will be event more apparent as we likely will not succumb to the conditions that our contemporaries will.

Regarding egg advertisement, I remember TV commercials in the U.S. featured a little song: "The incredible edible egg". You can't say they're healthy or nutritious or safe, but I guess you can say they're edible . At least the ones not infected with salmonella are edible (but still detrimental to your health and profoundly gross).

Loved this vid, but in defense of doctors you must admit that most people do not want to change their diet, change their lifestyle, or do anything for themselves. They want the doctor to "fix it" and they are ready to pay for it.
@dddux8 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's the main issue with people generally. They want to retain their lifestyle despite it being the main cause for being sick in the first place, so they'd rather consume meds and continue living the same way. Pitiful, I know. Well, I love my veg and fruits, so for me it's easy to say "go vegan" since I already am and I love my healthy diet that consists of both cooked and raw veg, legumes, and fruits in between meals. But people just like their lifestyle the way it is no matter what. Completely close-minded. On the other hand I often tell myself "why do I care?" The answer is simple: because of the animals. Not people.
@danielsoares37378 жыл бұрын

That section on Men's sexual health has completely turned my friend's diet around. Now he's messaging me up randomly, asking stuff like _"Is spinach good? What about sweet potatoes? What the hell is flaxseed?!"_ 😂 Seriously, most men won't give a crap about the ethical argument or enviromental argument, but mention anything about the loss of hard-ons, and suddenly, they're all about kale! 😂

Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing. I just stumbled on to your videos and am trying to change my diet. But, this is difficult. I am 45 years old, and it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I would love to see you do a video on changing your diet to a partial vegetarian diet. People like me will not give up our meat completely. How do we get our protein without feeling drained ? Help us take baby steps. I think you understand the problem. Thanks again.
@laurenszczepanski566310 жыл бұрын
Kurtis, don't be worried about not getting enough protein. Most people eating a western diet get TOO MUCH. Fruits and vegetables have all the protein you need. Our bodies are fueled by carbohydrates, so if you're feeling drained, eat some potatoes or bananas! :)

The question needs to be asked, "On a scale of 1 to 10, What are you willing to do to improve your health?" If the answer is less than 9, you may find some improvement but you will never heal. We as patients have more healing power than any doctor. People say things like, "no one will change their diet to plant based" I believe that assumption is based on not knowing the truth. I respond to 100% truth about my health and letting me make the determination about what I'm willing to do. No one else can decide for you. Do you want to heal? Think about what you are willing to do.

Thanks for this upload. It's cleared up something I've wondered about and that is that I do believe we all have a sell by date, our shuffling off of this mortal coil is pre destined. But what if our gone before us pals hadn't smoked/drank/eaten the wrong food etc? I share the view of some posters here that of course you retain your expiry date, but the time leading up to it has more quality. I've not eaten meat for 30+ years, stopped smoking over 10 years ago, and have now foresworn the booze (can't take the hangovers any more). I feel yards better and will be a healthy corpse :D BTW All this tosh about vegetarian food being 'bland'. I eat Thai/Mediteranean/Indian food. Bland? Not so much as steak and chips ...
