I remember when I was homeless and trying to get off drugs I would watch comedy whenever I had cell service because my life was so dark and sad. I wish all those years ago I had known about your ministry. Jesus found me and took me out of the tent I was living in and set me free and gave me a brand new life. Michael Jr. came to a homeless shelter, I was living at in Dallas, 11 years ago. He came at a time when I thought nothing was funny. He made me laugh and gave me the gas to push through my valley. Here it is 11 years later. I now have an 4 bdrm, 2 Bath, home. Still finding time to laugh which keeps my tank on full.

I have a very best friend - we're both nearer to 70 yrs and have known one another since we were 15 yrs, in high school but we laugh from the guts like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't imagine my life without this laughter and when with other peers 😐 No laughter from them and I'm dying to say, "What's wrong with you??!!" I have to tell friends, lighten up, put that negative energy away from you instead of nit-picking and nya nya nya, turn it around and LAUGH. And they look at me. Now, one is constantly, "Lizz, put that negative energy away from you!", with hand gestures, no less🤣 Laugh about the idiosyncrasies and bumps in the night, unwelcome surprises and myriads of "things". Life will be so much better!! My friend and i have to stop laughing because we have to pee so badly! And just adding, as the cannabis laws have lightened up and no one gets arrested for a joint anymore, we go down to the docks, the NYC Skyline, smoke, laugh, music blaring - life is what you make it! And then it's - wait. I can't get out of the car....🤣🤣🤣 God bless you AND LAUGH!!

It's not the hilarity of your jokes, interaction with the entire audience, or quick wit ---all that was greatly needed and appreciated. First, I want to say how wonderful it is to see Michael Jr SMILE! I've been following for YEARS and that face would not crack. Yes, it helps the performance of seeming serious when the situation is clearly comical. Love that SMILE, Michael!!!! I decided to watch a few Michael Jr shows to get some laughs in. Ended up pausing often to empty my bladder the correct way, in the correct location. I'd been in tears today, going through depression. Alone. I've given myself a break from trying to do everything so I can allow my body to heal and fill up with the Holy Spirit. I'm on a journey. EVERYTHING has pointed me toward helping others. I did not expect that message to come through in this comedy show. But God did. I'm still looking for the right place to serve. I don't have a job, a car, and my family has walked on out of my life. I have my two dogs....with human names. 🙄 In all fairness, I did not name them. These are dogs I've kept from going to shelters. They've saved my life. If I didn't have the responsibility of caring for them, I likely would have committed suicide years ago. Amazingly, these dogs have outlived their average life spans. They are both 15 years old. God's giving me purpose until I regain my footing and find my next purpose. It's gonna be big! Thank you, Michael Jr and team, for giving back and being good stewards, setting an example, and challenging others to do the same.

I had grown up never having heard that black people have a hard time swimming, so when I joined the Navy and found that nearly all of my company (unit) who was black had to take remedial swimming class, I was very surprised. I asked about it, and was told, "yeah, you never heard of that?!" I guess growing up in a medium sized town in Wisconsin with only a couple black kids in my high school of 1200 kids didn't prepare me for what I was going to experience in the Navy. Also found out what a "dew rag" was. In Nuclear Power school, I had asked Petty Officer Drumgold what the deal with the handkerchief on his head was right before bed, and he said, "It's my dew rag. I gotta work to look this pretty!" Anyway, I just thought you might appreciate a previously small-town white kid's experience getting to know about the wider culture out there. I don't think that not knowing how to swim means that you have a hard time with it. For instance my wife teaches remedial math for students that are behind in school. But its because they never learned how to do it.

Michael JR, I was legit just looking at my fb memories and realized it was 4 years ago today that I was this with my 16 year old daughter and went to see this. My wonderful, beautiful and very intelligent daughter is dyslexic too. It was another tough school day. It was an amazing and surprising way to end that day. I found your movie last minute by accident and we rushed to find childcare for my younger boys and just made it in time :) Little did I know that 3 years later, on this same day, I would be announcing the birth of my next daughter to celebrate this next great surprise! And today that God-gifted surprise turned 8 months old! My older daughter is now married and is doing great, enjoying her job and serving in her local church with her husband!
