Oops. Irad sucking sand in the sib rivalry stats for the BC... Kudos, Jose and Cherie. Tricky to ride... then shot out of a cannon, and still tricky to ride. 😂 I'd love to hear Jose's 'replay' of the race. Did Irad lose in "Cogburn's race to lose" because he launched too early, as one commentator thought? And was the time actually 55 secs... 4 less than the record Cogburn set at 59 (at another track)?
