Having grown up in Oregon and now living in Michigan, I am excited to find a channel really going out and exploring what Michigan has to offer. It’s not the west with its scenic vistas and big ass rocks but it’s still worthwhile to get out and explore. Excited to get out there myself next year

Yeah unfortunately my videographer botched that pretty good. Video should’ve turned out a lot better than it was. Were you supposed to be tracking where we were at and everything we were doing. None of that happened.

@Max Overland. I just took delivery of my JL Rubicon Ecodiesel today. I'm also in Michigan. The Metro Detroit Area. So far I love it. I'm getting ready to order my 3.5" Rock Krawler lift and am deciding between the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs or Baja Boss MTs. My question to you is how loud are the MTs at highway speeds? Can you have a phone call on the expressway? How do they drive? Do they tramline worse than ATs in your experience? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’m to the point I don’t want to daily my JT with the Baja Boss. I’m a Realtor and talk on the phone a ton. So they are too damn loud in my opinion. In the beginning they were not too bad. Now that they have some miles on them. They are very loud. But it’s also a hard thing to think about wanting to switch to an all-terrain. Because when I do go wheeling the stuff I get into I need the aggressive Tire. So chances are I will probably go with the Baja boss again. And plan on buying a full-size truck for my daily so that I don’t have to put so many miles on the jeep.

@@MaxOverland Okay. Thanks for that. I'm on the same boat. I'm a real estate investor and on the phone a lot. Looks like I'll go with the Baja Boss ATs and get an extra set of ultra aggressive tires for wheeling trips. Either TSL SX 2s or Mickey Thompson PRO XS. Probably the Pro XS. I'll keep you posted on how they do. Thanks again.

I actually prefer the voice over on videos. You should map all of this stuff in Gaia GPS or something so it's sharable and others can figure out where they can and can't go/fit.

That is definitely my plan moving forward with the maps.. I took a new Videographer with me on this trip. He showed up super hung over… Therefore the video did not turn out anywhere near like I wanted it to.

The UP is the best but way too far away. Drummond island is becoming a yearly trip though.
