Do you remember the Ariel and her sisters doll line that came out sometime in the 2000’s? They were incredibly stylized and creepy AF. Their waists were no more than an inch in diameter it was SCARY.

The first Belle certainly was villainous, and the second....are we certain that Belle doesn't have an evil sister out there somewhere? I seriously cracked up over that hideous representation of Tinkerbell. That demonic gaze, and Stepford Smile....she certainly could steal your soul in your sleep. Put that one far away, somewhere with a lock! And....aw, poor Ariel, has she been put in the microwave?? All her features are just wrong, but her arms give me Gumby vibes. They look so odd!

The Jasmine doll looks like she's a fan of Aladdin and tried to find a costume but she was too poor to do it so she made her own but failed miserably, she tried to make it as realistic as possible.

I wouldn't either, all the early dolls have their little quirks though, I'm pretty sure that the original Mattel Belle, is just an old Teresa face mold with different face paint.

Totally agree, ever since the split with mattel the facial character features have slipped and the quality of the dresses often is worse, particularly when they can't be bothered to stitch an overskirt/ apron on, so they just print it?!..yet the dolls remain just as much, if not more so, expensive? The old mattel dolls looked like they had stepped straight out of the film. Now it feels like they're just knocking out poorer quality ones with tonnes more glitter on to get people to buy

unfortunatly Mattel wasn't allowed to sell Disney dolls in Europe for a long time because Hasbro (and/or Simba) got the rights for their ugly demons. But Snow white is kinda cute
