That John Carver figure look SICK. It's obvious they just reused the Michael Myers body but something makes me smile seeing someone running around in a pilgrim hat scaring people. ( And in Thanksgiving, John Carver is instantly iconic. Just a menacing, bloodthirsty killer with plenty of cheekiness added to him.)

In my opinion, the best thing in "The Thing" is the correction of a fatal error in the first design. Lack of brightness in the eyes. Carpenter explained that this was how you could determine who had been impersonated. The creature lacked a human shine in its eyes.

I remember going to Blockbuster on Fridays after school and walking straight to the horror section. I always wanted to watch Motel Hell because the VHS cover looked so cool. It was always out of stock (probably because someone never returned it). I made it my mission to buy it on dvd when I started collecting movies as an adult. That was about 17 years ago. I still have it.

The Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee is amazing. Captured probably one of the best scenes in movie cinema. The neca Creature from the black lagoon is great. But neca has horribly neglected the howling. And I think they should redo phantasm and resident evil 😈

I didn’t know about the scream greats myers until the guy I follow on Instagram posted a short about him doing a nice custom on it, like the hair, repaints, hands. I guess I’m late but man does it look good when I seen it there and here. But slightly better with real hair. Also that exorcist regan looks hella good too. I kinda see why they made it 35$ all the emphasis is on the looks themselves and just sculpt. I don’t mind that either

Great video ! I will be getting Evil Dead items and Texas Chainsaws. Hatchet would be a good figure. I went to Michigan State University , so Evil Dead is huge around here..noting the sweatshirt the girl wears in the 2 movies .

The original Michael Myers suit from 1978 was a Sears Work'n Leisure Spruce Green Coveralls. For that money like you said the large scale model should have been more detail in everyway. Great review!

Not many people know that the Michael Myers mask is a Captain Kirk mask from Star Trek , and it’s supposed to look like William Shatner , to me it didn’t look like him but that’s the rumor. So what I’m getting at is the hair should be as short as the hair on Captain Kirk’s hair in Star Trek. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️

That’s right, it was a 1975 Don Post studios Captain Kirk mask that Tommy Lee Wallace purchased at a fancy dress store on Hollywood Blvd before converting it into Michael Myers. It’s a shame a lot of these companies can’t get the hair right

I like that PCS TCM remake figure, but I really want NECA to make an ultimate version of him, I admit I am biased towards NECA but the rest of the companies are great too. I agree, I dont prefer realistic hair majority of the time. Probably going to have to get that Vincent Price fugure. The Megan figure looks really well made. Looking forward to another good year of horror figures.

Great video. It seem like there's a lot to get excited about!! I'm loving that Hammer Horror is getting shown some love, I'm a big fan of hammer Horror, from Dracula, Frankenstein, you name it. The figures from Kaustic Plastic look awesome! Especially, that diorama!! The NECA figure of Christopher Lee looks awesome as well. I got a Scars of Dracula figure from Stars Ace. The likeness is really good, but the two head sculpts are the same, with his mouth open showing his fangs. It's nice to get a different head sculpt with his mouth closed. From what I heard in an interview from NECA is, they will consider doing more Hammer Horror figures depending on how well their Dracula figure sells. Here's hoping they sell a lot!! I'd love to see Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Dr. Frankenstein, Christopher Lee as Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy, maybe even Oliver Reed's portrayal in Curse of the Werewolf. I think that they'd have a lot of options to work with. Great video, keep up the good work!!!

I'm definitely going to look into getting hold of that diorama because I think it looks absolutely stunning! (Even despite its inaccuracies to what we see in the film!) This new statue looks really solid! They did two great 1974 Leatherface statues that were released earlier this year too. The only thing with them is that the hair needs some styling work on arrival
