More useless info on 1uz VVti. Wiring and setup trick. Wiring of 4x4 trails truck

The Cartune Company (2003) Ltd in New Zealand does 1uz and 3uz conversions / parts and wiring. We have been working on UZ Toyota V8 engines since 2004 when we did our own Hiace van to transport dirtbikes around NZ. Since then we have swapped to doing mainly just Lexus V8 work from a family owned farm hidden away in our paradise , surrounded by the NZ native bush. Always learning from ur vids.. I have a 1uzfevvti with a auto Prado 93 gearbox and it's a pathetic combo. Would you recommend a auto transmition with 4x4 that can handle the power and fit inside a toyota lc bj73? Thankyou.. Keep up the good work

Check out my video on the L400 delica van. The prado box should work fine if set up correctly , and a TPS enhancer is used. otherwise swap to the UZ box with the mitsi transfer case. Cheers

@@CartuneNZ unfortunately there are only 3 of the 16 wires connected, 2 ecus and voodoo that has been passed onto me from the previous owner. Will watch the video and get everything fixed soon, thanks for your reply.

Kelvin, good process analysis! Took two cups of coffee to finish watching. Any thoughts on adapting a paddle shift setup to the six speed? Or is that overkill?

Id say it would be quite possible as they already have the tiptronic mode. Cheers
