Sad Pig Dance, now that is an album title! Interesting cover I have not heard of Dave Evans. I love that first Blondie Album, that is one of y favorites. I have yet to set up my CD player or unbox my CDs. Guess I should do that one of these days. Always a pleasure to spend some time with you Rob

@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Dave Evans is just wonderful and has a unique style you, you can watch him on KZbin performing on a BBC music show from the 70s called The Old Grey Whistle Test.Dave plays a piece called ' Stagefright' ( which is also included on this album). For someone like me that adores the acoustic guitar particularly when it's played in a slightly unconventional way, Dave is sublime. Cheers Steve.

Hi Rob. I have a copy of Procol’s Grand Hotel but haven’t played it yet - probably because I’d heard it wasn’t as good as their previous albums. Now I will dig it out and give it a serious listen.

Surprised to see you with Black Sabbath Rob. Blondies first album originally came out on Private Stock records. Missed the chance to see them in Bournemouth in 77. My mum didn’t allow me!!! Squeeze supported and it was Blondies first U.K. gig. Gutted. I would have passed over the Lp with the two blokes on it. I only have Shine on Brightly by Procul Harum and have only played it once. Cheers fella, Chris

I'm pretty eclectic with my tastes Chris, if I like what I hear I'll generally buy it regardless of genre. admittedly Metal and doomy rock is not generally what I listen to but Sabbath are musically very interesting at their best and SBS is one of the best I've heard for sure. My parents weren't that protective at all, in fact my mum hadn't a clue where I was most of the time, particularly during school holidays..I was definitely more protective with my own son . Thanks for watching, hope you're keeping well 😉 🙏.

Totally gutted Rob that you had problem accessing the files on the discs. Especially the film which I only downloaded recently and watched just last week. I downloaded it onto my PC and transferred it to an external hard drive and then watched it via my media streamer - so not via my DVD player. So I would have expected you to be OK with it. Have you tried playing the file via your computer as I know that sometimes older DVD players can have problems with some video files? As for the other mp3 discs I did a straight copy from my DVD discs to the ones I sent you. I never used to access them via a DVD player but always used my PC - sometimes burning albums I particularly liked onto CD. I've just sampled the 3 discs on my PC and everything that I tried played fine. So unless something went wrong with the copying I would expect them to be accessible - will probably try playing them via my DVD player to see if it handles them OK. So apologies! Nice pick ups of the Sabbath, Procol Harum & Dave Evans BTW. I remember being initially a little disappoint with Grand Hotel when I first heard it - I didn't think it matched the first 4 albums. But It's grown in my estimation over the years. All the best... Pete

@@soundsfromthewestcoast9939 Thanks so much for sending the discs Pete..yes, it was dissapointing, particularly the film, as I was really looking forward to that one..ho hum, at least I could play some of the files. Unfortunately, both my works and personal laptops do not have a CD/ DVD drive, so playing on the DVD player in the lounge is my only option. If they are not copy protected I may try transferring the files via the audio out to my minidisc recorder ..( old school me!). I liked Grand Hotel first play, really consistent album. Take care Rob.

@@robison5396 I should have thought that a lot of people use laptops instead of PCs and that these days they don't come with CD/DVD drives. Maybe should have transferred the files to a USB stick instead.
