The key is to play on Speed Boost when by yourself, when around the team switch to Heal Boost to top off HP. If you are mid fight and everyone is taking damage, start on Speed Boost and actually accelerate it; then when he says “Time to accelerate” that’s when you instantly swap to Heal Boost in order to capitalize off the increased healing. Make sure you have Automatic Wall Ride turned on, Always Allow Backwards Wall Ride should also be turned on. Automatically Jump when released means when you meet an edge you’ll automatically jump, it’s good to help you recognize his momentum. I do not recommend having Toggle Wall Ride on, it will confuse you and have you spamming jump lmao! Remember that Lucio is projectile and not hitscan. This is in turn helps you to “predict” where to fire or rather helps you learn to read an enemy. Lucio is the non traditional Quad Burst, he fires 4 bullets at once. Use that to your advantage. Quad Bursting can be really effective if you find a pattern that you like shooting on. What I mean is sometimes I do a 1-2-1 pattern; where I body shot once, headshot twice and finish with another body shot and a melee. There are more patterns than just my 1-2-1 example. Always, ALWAYS use Sound Barrier on the ground. Even if you think you’ll be able to pull off a jumping beat, it’s better to just hit it on the ground that way your teammates reap the benefits as well. If you find yourself a couple ultimates behind everyone else, you are probably either healing or speed boosting too much. Because he’s such a versatile support you don’t want to find yourself getting stuck in a niche of one or the other. You can do both as a Lucio; you do not need to just heal or just speed boost. I know you’re probably being sarcastic but I just thought I’d share some of my helpful tips and tricks that really helped me figure out how to utilize Lucio to his maximum potential. There's gonna be that one time Emongg actually calls out a cheater, and everyone's just going to laugh it off until suddenly everyone's playing respawn sim. 😆

Lucio is the only thing keeping me in this game. There's plenty of indie games where you can skate on walls and stuff but it's just not the same as combining it with a shooter. I really hope some other game captures that.
