The tuna show was great! I'm disappointed that they didn't serve you "chiai" -- the dark red part that has more blood than the other parts. It doesn't stay fresh long, so basically you can't buy it anywhere. But if you get it fresh, you can cube it and grill it and serve it with citrus, salt and pepper, and it's a bit like eating beef. Maybe on your next trip!

Agreed, been to Nobu, the bill came to $600 for two people and it was no better than TGI Fridays / Applebees tier quality. I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to Japan, I could eat their food every day. Eat for breakfast, omelette rice, endless sushi, wagyu….it’s all amazing.

I really miss Japan. It's been nearly two years since my visit to that wonderful country, and the thing I miss most is the chimes. Those delightful sound effects were everywhere, including the ones that rewarded you with a jet stream of water while taking a dump on the toilet. Oh, such sweet memories!

i was taken to a sushi shop at the age of 8 by a parents friend, she told me i must learn to use chops sticks first and made me catch and pick up ice cubes from my water cup. i passed and have LOVED sushi since. i dream of trying sushi in japan! sushi in the us is so bland in my city. My fav sushi is eel and i love some sashimi 😍My 6 year old daughter even loves sushi too though shes still in the safe sushi league of salmon or tuna, she watches this with me to learn where food comes from! we just had sushi 4 nights ago. she said "THATS WHAT THE TUNA LOOKS LIKE MOMMY!!" 😄

A restaurant should normally change their oil at most once per 2 days and if the oil already black they should change it immediately Look at the fried fish, even though it's not burned, it look BURNED! For cheap street food, you can forgive it. But for expensive restaurant, that is unforgivable

Absolutely hysterical.. The super sized Nigiri is ridiculous. It defeats the whole concept of sushi and nigiri which is the small delicate slices are perfect for melt in your mouth as it eliminates the tendons and tough parts of the fish. Hint: If they gave you a knife and fork- USE THEM, slice your own and make traditional Nigiri. Love your video's

We have a Kura sushi in my city and i've been there a few times. It's actually quite delicious and fun because the more plates you put in the closer to the reward at the top you get. Our Kura stocks things seasonal in the little prize balls for you to collect. Everything also is automated with minimal staff. They have sushi chefs on behind this glass counter and you can also watch them make the sushi in front of you. Top notch place for the price.
