I always wonder why when American companies make millions and millions of dollars in China with companies like Mcdonalds, Starbucks, KFC, NIKE, Adidas, Apple, Ford, GM and so on, is seen as perfectly ok. Starbucks literally has over 7000 stores in China. But when 1 or 2 Chinese companies try to make some profit in America its either national security or over production. Can someone explain?

First of all they do have the most restaurants out of all ethnicities and nobody's worried. Secondly they should be worried because the chinese use cheap and illegal workers to cut edges and make it more profitable hence the restaurants with more standards get crushed. So like anything else made in china we should rethink our purchases so we don't help them abuse worker's rights

You can even order food from your phone while on a bullet train. The food delivery service app delivers food from the restaurant to the next station, and the train attendants bring the food you just ordered to your seat. Most people think I made this up until they travel to China, lol. The Chinese people are very hardworking, their infrastructure, technology, service, and efficiency are at least 20-30 years ahead of America.

They will deliver anything to you anytime anywhere in China. I was sitting on one of their high speed trains, which stopped at some random station for no more than 5 minutes. Not long after leaving the station, one of the train attendants delivered a bag to the passenger sitting on the opposite side of the train to me, and it was a bag of KFC takeout! Apparently you can order it while on the train, and they'll time the delivery to the exact couple of minutes the train is in station so you can get it. Really speaks to not only how efficient their version of doordash/uber eats service is, but also how on time their trains are so they can reliably time their deliveries into these very short windows.

@@iangantner6976 KFC is massively successful here in China, much more so than MacDonalds. The reason is that KFC came to China earlier than the other American food brands and they have a straightforward American-face logo and in the old days it was cleverly translated into "Kentucky Hometown Chicken" in Chinese, evoking some cultural emotions about hometowns (Nowadays it's just called Ken De Ji as transliterated from Kentucky). Their TV commercials were also more frequent than MacDonalds. They also adapt to local tastes by including a variety of common Chinese breakfast snacks like congee with shredded pork and century egg slices, youtiao (a type of puffed fried dough stick) and others, which is very well-received by the market. MacDonalds is relatively slower in this regards.

KFC in China is far superior to KFC in Japan or Hong Kong, simply for one item on their regular menu, the Peking Duck Wrap(or it's just called the "Old Beijing Wrap" since it's fried chicken instead of duck. Also KFC in HK and Japan are both horribly dry sitting under the lights drying out for hours. KFC's regular chicken breasts are still sometimes juicy, like in North America, barely edible, but still edible. Japanese KFC is worse than freeze-dried cardboard, even if they somehow worship it for xmas.

LuckinCoffee is nasty. I know it gets a lot of attention overseas as this Chinese coffee chain, but all Chinese agree that Starbucks is much better. Many companies or individuals looking to make money in China often overlook a seemingly minor yet potentially fatal issue: the representation of Taiwan in maps of China. If your video published in China fails to include Taiwan, you risk being permanently banned. Many international corporations have made this mistake before. If you also want to avoid offending the other side, my suggestion is to avoid showing the Taiwan region altogether. Instead, focus solely on the specific area where you are located. Take my advice seriously-it could save your business.

@@zebartinwooo7132 yes, we have those varieties. It's just that pie as a concept wasn't invented by Americans, and therefore isn't limited to fruits or any other ingredient.

Germany here: McDonalds had once the McNürnburger with Nürnberger brat-sausages between a bun. But it wasn't a success. Mainly because you can get everywhere sausages in a bun here from real artisan butchers.

FYI, the English word for a Bratwurst is “bratwurst” (and certainly not “brat sausage”, which could also be hilariously translated as “Lausebengelwurst”).

This man is in a foreign country but complaining about desserts not having apples in it. Is this man for real?? If you want apple pies, dont get them at Mickey Ds here in the states. Dont go to fast food places in another country and put them down because they cater to what they love in that country, Show a bit of respect for different culture and what they love. Not everyone love apple pies. Plus, the amount of money we pay here in the states for food is out of control.

Why doesn't he complain about red beans in Japan? But in China, he starts whining about taro and red bean. He is plain racist.

@@normanis No, he is just an entertainer over being passionate about food ; which makes him superficial and narrow minded and perhaps slightly stupid.
