Besides, there's nothing wrong with giving some quick criticism, especially since I've never really seen negative comments on these videos before the AI stuff started. Also, he probably doesn't "do" his videos like this himself, I'm fairly sure he hires an editor.

@@j.jabara Americans like to tell jokes. You wouldn't understand the culture of Americans if you weren't born here. I am not saying this to be mean; I remember when I went to China, it was a culture shock to me that people did NOT tell jokes. I'd say something funny and be met with dead stares. It wouldn't be dark humor or anything, just something silly -- and everyone in the room would look at me like I just put a fish in my pants. While I don't think that Hiroshima and Nagasaki jokes are appropriate, the Pearl Harbor joke is something most Americans would honestly think is funny. We tend to mask our tragedies with a dose of humor to lighten the mood. Why would you live miserably if you could have even a little bit of joy, even if that joy is self-deprecating humor?

So.. if they have rice buns then my question is: Where are the sushi "burgers?" 🤔 Seriously.. take a deconstructed sushi roll.. since I'm American and don't know any better I'm gonna just say a "California Roll" for example.. and take all the ingredients of the roll, minus the rice because the "bun" is your rice, and layer them between the rice buns. So instead of lettuce as a topping you get seaweed, instead of ketchup and what not you'd get the top "bun" covered with a spreadable soy sauce and fish eggs, avocado, cucumber, etc.. and instead of a burger patty you'd get whatever fish is in the roll, or in the case of a Cali Roll it would be crab meat. And there you have it.. a Sushi Burger. It would (and should) taste exactly like a sushi roll with a BIT more rice due to the "bun" construction. Except, you eat it with your hands like a burger.

I’ve only been following you for a few months now, give or take. But I absolutely love your content! I will most likely never be able to travel to the places you have been, but it’s fun getting to see how people on the other side of the world of eat! It’s almost like I get to experience your trip, without actually being on it. I have my struggles when it comes to consuming any type of food, but watching videos like yours really does help me appreciate food and want to actually enjoy it!

The Burger King burger with pineapple was supposed to be on the American menu, I think, in the 70's. But I don't remember if it was McDonalds or Burger King. I think it was the CEO who came up with the idea to have a vegetarian alternative for Catholics who don't want to eat meat on Fridays. They called it the hula burger, since pineapples are Hawaiian. I don't remember if they actually sold it here, or if it was just an idea that was proposed, but obviously it didn't catch on. The ended up doing the fillet o fish sandwiches instead.
