The first "cheap" buffet is actually a charity food bank donated by nearby Buddhist temples and believers. They ask for a small amount of money to keep people's dignity and to make people feel they are paying for their food. But that pricing can hardly pay for the salaries of the staff, not to say the food. So, if one is in real difficulty, one can walk in, say the Buddhist prayer, and have some free food. All of those Buddhist background "charity restaurants" will be more than happy to feed people in need.

The special pattern on it is the texture of a cushion cloth. During the compaction process, a cushion cloth needs to be placed between each layer of tofu. This cushion cloth is similar to the traditional thick medical bandage gauze, and these textures are produced during the compression process. It's not for the sake of aesthetics.

The Buddhist vegetarian buffet even in the Unite States are at affordable prices as well, you just need to know where to find them, they are usually located in temples. I remembered going to the temple buffet in Dallas, Taxes, 20 years ago ,the buffet is approximately 5 bucks. Now it might charge more but I believe it’ll still relatively cheap compared to average American dining

Tofu skin has that rough texture because tofu, like cheese, is traditionally strained and pressed through a cloth so the outside is going to mold into the gaps between the fibers.

I’m surprised it’s taken so many buffet gigs for someone to tell you to stop talking/spitting on the food…

I really admire your openness to try out different foods and different way of eating things! I found it really interesting to see all the different offerings. It's great that they eat all parts of the animal to really make the most out of the animal.

I am not a vegetarian so buffet 2 was my choice. I could eat just about any of it except I would steer clear of the bug section.😀 Again as I always say your videos are entertaining and educational too. Thanks for sharing all your travels.

If I spend $80 on a buffet, I will definitely need ingredients that are not available in a regular buffet. What I mean is, even if it's just a glance or a taste, it's already worth the ticket price Not to mention if it cooks well
