This is one of my favorite Morecambe and Wise sketches which I have been trying to find for years. Having now found it I hope others enjoy it too,

Oh I miss watching Morecambe and Wise soooo much. These two, the Two Ronnies, Mike Yarwood and so many more. They were true comedians. We haven’t seen their like since and unfortunately never will again. Today’s ‘comedians’ (and I use the term loosely) can’t hold a candle to them. RIP to all the late greats of comedy. We miss you 😢

I cannot watch Eric and Ernie without seeing Dad. He was the spitting image of Eric, and as funny. We always watched the show..They are both long gone now. When comedy was great.

In essence I meant that I'd understood your response and I replied playing on the word _wise._ The difference I was underlining _originally_ was that *Shakespeare,* whose use of language I truly admire, would probably _never_ have used the facetious locution that *Ernie,* who I also admire, famously did (though I suspect it was *Eric's* idea - and I admire _him_ even more). *_Pterry_* would have known what I meant as would *P. G. Wodehouse* but, as I said, it's rather elliptical.

As I recall it *Ernie* wrote *_Macbeth,_* a truly wondrous play. Did he also write *_Loves' Labours Lost,_* a great political play according to *Barry Cryer?* *_ISIRTA_* nearly _rools_ but *_ISIHAC_* went further - but maybe only in _my_ opinion!
