My diabetic self screaming at the screen when he said insulin was made in the spleen 😭😭, ITS THE PANCREAS BROO. Your pancreas produces insulin to lower your blood sugar. It also produces glucagon to raise your blood sugar. When it doesn’t work at all (Type 1 Diabetes), you have to manually inject insulin (glucagon is in the case of an emergency pick-me-up to raise blood sugar when no other option is available and specifically if you can’t raise it yourself so someone needs go inject it for you).
