I wish that Morecambe and Wise would be released on Region 1 DVD so that Americans will be able to experience this duo! As a British comedy enthusiast, I can say that this is one of the best discoveries in the field that I have made! And I especially enjoyed Dilys Watling on THE BENNY HILL SHOW, especially her rendition of "Fever," with Benny improvising through the lack of instruments!

That's the Napoleon sketch, where Ernie plays the Emperor, Eric plays Wellington who's come to take Nap's surrender after Waterloo, and Vanessa Redgrave towers over Ernie as the Empress Josephine. Brilliant work, but I haven't been able to track it down! If anyone has a copy, please PLEASE upload soonest!
