You'll get the pvp maps; weapon slots and the other quality of life stuff. You won't get random rolls though

You have to have all of the DLCs to play forsaken. Bungle did it this way to keep the player base as big as possible for forsaken. It was the same way in TTK. So all you will get is quality of life changes

You do realize they would have to put every possible roll on each weapon. That could be hundreds to thousands of different possibilities, that not only would be a lot of work to implement in game, but would pointless because people really only care for god roll weapons. How to solve this issue - pay attention to the weapon rolls before making a decision about deleting them.

Uh, no it would not. If Bungie were more competent at coding then it would not be a large issue. Their items rolls for randomized perks work through layers of RNG; the engram, the weapon, then the perks. In practice it is not so difficult but, Bungie has constantly been shooting themselves in the feet with their engine, how they built their code, and how changing that code works. Not sure if I explained this properly, kind of falling asleep on my end.

Think about it this way. Uldren has to die to unlock the Dreaming City. The raid is in the City. So in theory he would have to die in the campaign because if I remember correctly they mentioned in one of the vidocs that you have to complete the campaign to access the city.
