It is funny. Especially the comment about making a video on how to play the straight. To be fair, it seems Drongo knows what every position should be doing but he isn't doing the appropriate things for his position, so the notion of teaching others how to play straight is hypocritical. He is literally teaching people to do the opposite in these build videos. Drongo is trolling by stretching his builds to try and make them stronger/faster by cutting corners. He is not building the defensive things all backline players should have like AA and anti-nuke and not supporting the other players on his team with T2 constructors and T2 units which the geo player is in the best position to provide (at least to the front and the lead sea position). Didn't support his orange team mate on sea despite having the air at the time to do it, and could have easily been wiped if the follow up on the orange sea falling was more than a few tanks. Having that nearby geo gives you a huge leg up on getting to T2 fast and your position should support and strengthen the adjacent front and sea positions. The seaplanes "worked" this time because blue's fighters were Cor T1 and they only engaged with half at a time, were out of position, and didn't focus the bombers. I didn't see dark green use any aircraft either which they should have had having used them to attack orange. They knew Drongo had sea planes because of the push that almost took out the geo. The reason the game was won is because drongo's opponent blundered, and his eco pink player took their foot off of the gas to send Sheldon's to the front to cover because Drongo didn't support the front. Honestly well done on that read from pink.

I'm just glad I had seen his fighters and built some AA to poop on Drongo's bombers :D Otherwise though, our blue player quitting from being bombed really killed our chances in that game. I mean, he did lose his eco, but he had constructors and front held for a long time for him to rebuild. Btw, my small amphib attack didn't kill your geo because I just did a move command with the harass, too low attention capacity to micro everything.

Drongo's air play is clearly scouted.... he leaves his planes circling over green in sea...gets to enemy base...."why do they have anti air?" lol In all seriousness though this was way faster than last time, definitely practice is paying off, but like you said you just need more time playing this way to react better to emerging threats. Feel like you won here because the enemy sea players were only supporting the front... Like, not enough to just control the sea you have to actually use it as a vector of attack. Because no real threat of hovercrafts and marauders on the shores, everybody was free to build up and push through the front

I'm kinda glad people don't use Junos all the time, at first I saw the tick spam as lame and lazy but when used with other units to make a big push and taking into account Juno I been liking the tick spam a lot more.

I think DaMass was going eco, but started to make units to help frontline because.... Drongo wasn't. Also contrary to commentary Nayass did try to contest sea. However was double teamed by enemy air while Drongo could of saved him.

@Drongo what keys are you using to switch from building your windmills and pumping your T1 bots early? Every time I try to do this with spacebar it continues to pump even after a bot is completed.

What is the rationale behind consuming all of your military producing buildings at one point instead of just building four times the amount of seaplanes and winning the entire game? Seems you were maybe a third of the way there at one point.

Might be a waste but putting some resources into rebuilding the fronts eco might be worth it aswell at like 20 mins. Just a few con turrets and some advanced solar to get him on his feet so you have a buffer again. Also I like to be nice to frontliners with the slapping they have to take.

I'd argue being front on supreme straights is worse than most maps as you're also 100% dependent on your navy player winning or you winning or not is completely irrelevant as you're going to get your armies and base shat on by ships

Quick future tip, don't eat all of your comm wreckage. Its more usefull to have a potential comm then that extra 15 metal (ie extra buildpower)

You have to use Ctrl+A when bombing, you can also shift click and they should bomb and go to next destination.

indeed, both because of lack of consideration for other players, one doesn't look what the others are doing and doesn't realize he can still help the team win, the other doesn't realize they are making a number of ppl wait for them to finish their loosing sim city battle, or make them leave and killing the lobby. I guess it's an illustration of the bane of humanity..

If you want to invalidate all of your timings buy an air transport and start doing T2con micro with it. Game chang'n for small unit walk time diffs

Watch some replays by a player called hell2full4me they are a really good front liner I kid you not they held back a T3 army with one T1 medium tank it was the craziest thing I ever saw happen on noob straight.

It's crazy how allied team only had 2 guys frontline one of them quickly losing his com and had no units on the field for ages only 1 llt looks like, and enemy team didn't even try to push or leak or scout anything while 4v1 lol The meta in this game is really weird and passive compared to some other RTS Ive played over the years, try playing like that in SC aoe2 or CoH, ud be dead at the 5 minutes mark. 😅

If oppo didn't quit you probably would have lost. Many blunders on both sides, from you not reading your teams game chat thus being left in the dark about what orange wanted to do in right sea, to red trying to go air, when he was in an eco position. to not realizing you loitered above greens mex for a solid minute before going in on the first push and then being surprised that they had AA. BUT you didn't quit, even when things weren't going in your favor your persistence and fighting spirit pushed through to the win. Yes you made a lot of blunders in this game but your oppo made more mistakes. as for the GG thing, people say gg when they think they are taken out of the fight, not just when they think the team is gonna lose. also in late game air pushes you should send out dragons as vanguard to tank AA before your bombers and air control go in. the AA will be locked onto the tanks leaving the rest of your air relatively unscathed.
