"Stay on the phone with me the whole time you're going to the store, but don't talk to me at all while you're in the store" is probably one of the weakest parts of the scam. I can't think of a legitimate reason why someone would insist on that. It might be kind of fun to press them on that and see what excuses they make. Say something like "Honey, I can't stay on the phone if we're not going to talk. My phone plan isn't very good."

There are some calls where Kit presses them on this, but disappointingly, when scammers are asked a question they don't want to answer, they just ignore it. Also, they are often not listening anymore, because of Kits rambling, they just wait for a moment of silence and then repeat the line in their script.
