My favorite noodle soup is pho dac biet, or Vietnamese specialty noodle soup with every kind of meat, or the vegetarian version with fried tofu which is delicious on its own. 🍜🍲🥣 I would go out every year, once a year, to favorite conveniently located Vietnamese restaurant with my entire family to eat this for my birthday growing up. 🎂🍰🧁 It was a special occasion and I looked forward to it every year. The avocado smoothie with boba is also a very good combination with the pho and was another special treat I would get, sharing with my siblings. I love avocado, and boba, and all together it can't get better. 🥑🧋 I think it's cool that soup you tried reminded you of pho. Since I no longer go out to celebrate my birthday, I enjoy eating my mother's homemade pho instead. But... the only thing better than boba itself is your engagement. Congratulations!

OK, I'm back! I so want to go to that teahouse! Not only did you have Ali Shan Oolong, but those Jasmine Tea Pies - I want! My favorite noodle soup, I've not had a lot of noodle soups, but I love Ramen from a local place here in Vancouver (Washington) called Kenji's. I usually get the garlic & onion Ramen with pork belly. They grill the pork belly and it gets nice and charred. Yum!
