A tip my friend gave me is that seafood from the fisherman is always cheaper before 9 am. I also noticed if you wait till after that sale period, the prices of the shells you sell him go up so you can grab more money for your shells. You can also sell the cone shells to the flower shop lady if she's been unlocked. If you check the convenience store, they sometimes sell recipes and chocolate is cheaper from the seller directly than in the vending machine out front.

For consumables, you need to equip them into the 3 boxes at the bottom of your interface when you look at your bag. You can just drag them into those boxes. Then clicking the corresponding 1, 2, and 3 numbers with the items in them will use the consumables.

@@MoreSkillsGaming Thanks yep when I increased my friend level with him it appeared. So apparently the more you smooze with shop keepers the more they will have to offer. Pretty cool.
