And if thats why they think its attractive its a little creepy to me, are you attracted to children? Or am i attractive and HAPPEN to have childlike features?? I’m an ER nurse, and the fat positivity movement concerns me for a lot of reasons. You pretty much said it all in the video, but if I can make one addition, I’d say that I don’t think members of the movement realize that being morbidly obese compromises your ability to care for yourself. I can’t count how many times I’ve cared for a patient in their 40’s, 50’s, or 60’s (who should be completely capable of walking into an ER room and laying on a bed) need to be wheeled in, and lifted onto a stretcher by two or three nurses. As a caretaker, you still care about them and want the best for them, but it’s frustrating when you’re injuring your back taking care of someone who doesn’t make much effort to care for themselves.

She works out and eats ‘healthy’ food which shows she lives a ‘healthy’ lifestyle. So she’s too far in now to say or do or be any different. It’s about the $$$ now. The reality of course is that ‘health’ isn’t measured by some static bunch of blood tests and you don’t stay obese by under-eating as no amount of ‘working out’ changes that. The movement should be Respect at Every Size because moral worth isn’t measured by what you weigh.

Thank you! I was brainwashed believing it’s okay to be fat and eat whatever I want because all bodies are different. Yet I was constantly sad, depressed, low in energy and was always defensive and uncomfortable. I was at my highest weight in 2018 being 220 pounds and I am 5ft 6”...I was eating anything I want as much as I want. I got angry at myself and angry at how I looked, I wasn’t happy. My clothes didn’t fit the way I wanted. I started eating in a calorie deficit and did Leslie Sansons five miles walk away the pounds every single day. I felt super happy Immediately noticed a change in my body, habits and my state of mind. Overall I lost 60 pounds. I currently weigh 160, I am working towards losing 30 pounds and then I’ll maintain.

You could go on a walk or just sit down and watch nature, just as long as you get out of the home for a bit 2. Do something different from your every day, for example if you watch KZbin all day go play a game or read, maybe draw, paint, learn to embroider or something. Just limit how much time you spend watching KZbin 3. Take a bath or shower, you can even make it pretty if that's your thing 4. Do some laundry/change your clothes, it can help you feel cleaner and fresher thus giving a small boost to your brain

I'm brand new to this channel, having just found it today. I'm a 63 yr old woman who weighed 333lbs 5 yrs ago. I also am a Type 2 diabetic, and neither my weight nor my diabetes were caused by overeating. In my case, it was sugary drinks which ruined my health in so many ways. I had it fixed in my brain that watery drinks (vs. creamy drinks) could not put weight on me! Until I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, it took me awhile to understand what caused it. I've never had a big appetite, but am always thirsty, especially when I smoked. I now weigh 125 lbs and wear a size 6. I have had the weight off for nearly 3 years now. My A1c is down to a 5.5 - 5.7, so I no longer need any medications for my diabetes at all. I have 2 autoimmune disorders, both of which cause me chronic pain, but my pain levels have dropped by around 75% since losing the weight. I now feel more like I'm in my 30s than my 60s. PS, I absolutely had to see who named their channel My Thoughts Will Probably Offend You! I wasn't disappointed. Thanks!
