Thank you. I always keep the green beacon on the end of the chain banks on my starboart, but other than that, pretty much straight there. Big tip on Harries if you go on a weekend; get there early and stake a claim. Mid week is not too bad. Good luck.

Perseverance certainly pays off, a well deserved snapper. I was out there this morning looking for spotty macs but could not find any. Hopefully they will turn up soon as the family have placed a Xmas order for two. :(

I was half expecting you to pull up the big mackeral I missed a week ago. I had it up to the boat and was working on landing him when he looked at me sideways, said "nup", and bit me off. I'm sure I heard him laughing at me. If you catch a roughly 1m mackeral with a #3 spoon in it's mouth give it my regards.

Did you put a squid skirt over the pilchard? Trying to understand how you rig your bait. Thanks.

No. I just rig the pilchard by itself on a snell rig. Top hook through the head and bottom hook as far back as it will go and still have some slack line between them.

I'm putting some tips in all my videos which I hope will help. And I don't try to hide where I am fishing. I think one of the key things is recognising fish on your sounder. Check out the videos I am doing on how sounders work and how to read them. I've just started that series so it will thke a while to complete it. Hope you start getting some.
