Another good video mate. There was a bit of music playing over you speaking and then a dead silent patch of you travelling. I assume the music went into the wrong section of the video. Cant wait for next weeks.

Ah mate watching you catch the squid makes me super jealous! Before I came to Australia I had two things I really wanted to catch, a chonk of a snapper and a squid. I have been here for a year now and caught neither. Do you think some of the spots you are catching them are reachable in a kayak? I have a pretty big Hobie pedal yak and I know this is the time of year to get on them.

Yeah for sure mate! Coochie is very close to a boat ramp and holds squid this time of year.

Do you catch squid all year round in the bay? Or is it mostly winter. Great video!

@@jamesj8309 thanks mate. Mostly winter in the southern end and shallow water but they can be caught all year round. Summer is more middle to northern bay in the deeper water and shallow.

whats your trick for avoiding squid jig getting snaged in those rocks ? Looks like you gave it some time to sink too

Luck 🤣. I did snag the bottom twice but got them off. Different jigs have different sink rates and getting to know the your jig will help imo.

Just a question with mounting sounders bro I brought a 12 inch hummingbird I have a small Simrad in the middle of the side console we’re would be the best place to mount the unit and transducer on a 481 crossfire and do u know anyone trustworthy that could install it cheers brother
