60 rides on a boardwalk park is absolutely unbelievable but it makes sense when you see they have 3 piers. But still it's insane. A coaster on each pier with a wooden coaster that gives amazing ocean views, a horrible boomerang, and probably the best Vekoma SLC in existence, it's a strange lineup but they have so much. I especially love how they fit Great Nor Easter in such a small place weaving in and out of water slides.

Morey's IS a Crowning Jewel! Boardwalks are a "special breed" in amusement parks. That lovely sunset you captured along with the smell of the ocean . swirled with, cotton candy, hot dogs & chain grease! Night time with dizzying lights and all the eNeRgY of a small child is a MOST intoxicating experience! I loved the Tilt-A-Whirl sea shell styled. Morey's is truly worth a few visits (OR more) during the season!

Curious to see if the Jolly Rancher conversion of Sidewinder will change that though.

My home park! This means I got a lot to say about the park. Mariners Pier is 4 blocks north of Adventure Pier and Surfside is about 1000 meters (about a 10 minute walk) north of Adventure. Sometimes the park gives weekday discount wristbands that are good for the afternoon only but they don't do it as much since Covid hit. Park is very pricey which surprisingly hasn't discouraged many from visiting because it was very busy when Coaster Studios visited last year. Parking is cheap if you park at the Convention Center. It's $7-10 during the week and $15 on the weekends and you can park all day until midnight. If you want an all day wristband, you currently have to pay $100 which includes admission to both water parks and a donation to Ukraine which is included in admission. Water parks usually open at 9am and close at 6pm so you can do both in the same day. Operations are usually very slow with one train ops and 5 minute dispatches but lines are always next to nonexistent so I don't worry too much about it. Water park ops are better though because they send you down the slides before the previous rider exits. Staff is very friendly and interact with guests often. They have been struggling with staffing lately as they usually have a lot of exchange students from Russia work during the summer and Covid of course prevented them from coming to America to work. Best Boomerang and SLC in the same park. Runaway Tram is very underrated and forceful, second favorite in the park imo behind Great White. Flat ride collection is amazing. Best flat used to be Maelstrom but that was removed in 2019, so now AtmosFEAR is the best flat. I prefer "it" the claw ride over larger frisbee attractions because of its lap bar and strong ejector airtime. Best place to eat on the Boardwalk is Mack's Pizza but Sam's is also very good; I recommend trying out trying every pizza place if you are a frequent visitor. Joe's, Franconi's, and Olympic Flame are also pretty good. Also recommend checking out the Marvis Diner which is off the boardwalk on Rio Grande Ave, the main street in town. The Retro Arcade is owned by Randy Senna who is kind of a big name on the boardwalks. Mariner's Arcade is the park's only arcade. Ed's Funcade is the best for Skeeball and they do Skeeball tournaments often. Morey's Piers also owns the Starlux Mini Golf across the street from the big Wildwood sign which is a great course to do if you're into mini golf. Park also hosts sports tournaments on the beach including a wrestling, soccer, baseball and softball, and Spikeball tournaments. I know people that did the Spikeball tournament and I might do it this summer. Overall the park is well kept and I sometimes prefer it over Great Adventure especially regarding food, atmosphere, and clientele. I hope the park gets one of the newer Vekoma models as they have a good relationship with them and they can take out an older ride or two to do it.

The fact that one of the original almost 40 year-old Boomerangs can be considered the best in the US is a testament to how well the Morey family cares for and invests in upkeep of their rides. My last ride on it was better than even Boomerangs that are half the age. Between Sea Serpent and Sidewinder (now Jolly Rancher Remix) at HP, the vest restraints immediately enhance the ride.

Morey's has had some incredible flatrides over the years, many of which (sadly) are no longer there. I went in their sky coaster and skyscraper at least 6 times this summer and I did springshot 3 times. Btw if you go on the red side of skyscraper. You get an amazing view of wildwood.
