I had an acquaintance years ago who was a pro boxer who had a morgan. He loved that car! He said (not quoting) it was unlike any other roadster in that it was a 100% translation of the road through the seat and controls with its wooden construction. He no longer fights but is still a whole bunch of character and class!

if they made it more buggy like, higher suspension travel, lifted, itd look and drive much better and be a proper offroader. Now its as much of an offroader as any modern crossover - mostly decorative.

Yeah it certainly doesn't look like it can have much up travel. But obviously keeping a somewhat low center of gravity is also desirable. For mostly maintained gravel roads it's probably great, much more off the beaten path i predict some carnage. Like you said, I'm sure this is aimed at people that like the look and having something different as much as anything.

Yeah that's cool, but not $200K cool. This experience can be replicated for 1/10 the price in your shed with some basic mechanical acumen and tool kit.

To describe this as a tribute to the trial successes is silly. The Morgan’s that were competing successfully in trials in the 1920s/30s were basically road cars. And the trials hills they were tackling then were far more challenging than driving doughnuts around a level field. There are better and less embarrassing ways to spend £200k

What a failure. If you buy this for some rallying or off-roading you have to do some serious work on the intake and exhaust. Besides some serious suspension and ground clearance of course. That’s terribly done.
