Awesome Job, Man. I'm gonna try this with my car trailer & bit larger shed. Side Note: We need competent useful people in this world to stay living so please don't ever use one of those POS HF or WalMart Come-Alongs. Come-Alongs are junk anyways but especially those. I busted one on my little 3500lbs 20 Ft. Jetboat a few weeks ago & was lucky I didn't take a piece of the unit to the head.

Thank you for video. Im moving 12 'by16' shed w/same trailer n winch. My Question is last part of video is scewed so is that shed sitting partialy on Fenders?? Just curious how you got on blocks if not on fenders at end of missing video9when shed on trailer). Thank You Sir, John Wade
@kennydykes1145 Жыл бұрын
It barely cleared the fenders by 1/2 in, but it did take the lights off. No charge, I told my buddy i borrowed the trailer from. The furniture dolly and a block of wood was a big help, rolling onto the trailer. Check out my other video in moving a shed, it was twice as heavy.
@johnbeck57953 жыл бұрын
I may have a similar project soon. I was thinking of lifting the shed above the height of the trailer's bed, enough so I can put round posts under the shed to run it along the trailer bed. The shed is narrow enough to fit between the wheel guards.

Thanks for tuning in. My wife's boss gave me this shed for free, but the catch was he only gave me 2 days to get it removed, I had to improvise with what I had. It was actually a lot lighter than it looked, probably about 1000lbs.

whole lot of dangerous stuff going on here. DOT officer would of had a field day with you. also i'm surprised those blocks didn't crush since you had them on their sides. i really hope no one else try's to do this, this was extremely stupid.
@kennydykes11455 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comment. I've been a general contractor for years and yet to crush a cinder block form just compression, I suppose it's possible if something is really, really heavy, I bet that building was less than a half ton. And as far as a DOT officer, I don't understand, here in Texas, as far a I know it is not illegal to transport a shed, on a trailer on the Texas highways. Stay tuned for more.
@mardegan865 жыл бұрын
Y do ppl make stupid comments like yours, what's the danger there. That's not a 10000 pound shed, that thing wheight no more than 500 pounds do u know how much wheight a cinder block can support even if placed the other way.
@frenzy2120055002124 жыл бұрын
@@mardegan86 The stupid comment would be that of you're own. The fella literally admitted being a general contractor for years. So regardless of the unforseen dangers like one having a small crack which weakens it's integrity enough causing it to fail under what would normally be a safe weight, the dangers are there. Just because you don't see or understand them, doesn't mean you have to criticize someone calling out something unsafe. What happens when a kid KZbin's for guidance, but his shed isn't a little one you can pick up with a farm jack, and ends up with a building flattening his head simply because someone didn't point that out? Would his comment be stupid then? What the dangers are or aren't isn't really the issue in question here. It's why not do it the right way, regardless of what the dangers are?
