Ngl, ever since I became exposed to indie polishes... I haven't touched cremes other than for nail art! 😅 so seeing these is kind of refreshing, I guess?

Lol I totally get that!! If I’m going for a full solid color mani I would reach for something shimmery 🤩 but creams are soo satisfying too, esp for some nail art hehe 🌷

I can see that all of these shades have delightful, self-leveling formulas. I have been focusing on Morgan Taylor the past few years, attempting to buy from them before other mainstream brands if I want a new color.

yes they definitely have great formulas!! I really love that about them, especially paired with their brushes, they def win over a lot of mainstream brands for me too!

Freshly Cut (it’s a nice grungy green!) is the only shade I like. If the shimmer in Sweet Morning Breeze was stronger, I would have liked it😢 I prefer Olive Ave “After Glow” to the MT “Very Berry Clean”. Thank you so much for the beautiful swatches and comparisons.❤ You looked so pretty! I loved how you wore such a lovely yellow lace top💛 I am happy you got this in P.R.💃🏿

I’m glad you love the green!! I ended up liking it more after doing comparisons hehe definitely made me see the more springy vibe, but yes it’s still quite grungy at the same time 😝 & ugh yeah I wish the shimmer would show up more! Kind of reminds me of Essie Bikini so Teenie in that way, but I think the shimmer is more noticeable in MT. Just barelyyy lol. Afterglow is a gorgeous purple right?! It’s deep but still vibrant too! So glad you enjoyed my swatches and comparisons, and thank you for the sweet compliment!! 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗

I love Tidy Touch, Very Berry Clean and Sweet Morning Breeze. The others are pretty colors just not suitable for my skin tone. I’ve always liked MT polishes. Thanks for the s&r!

yess i was so excited about the sunnier days but its been COLD the last two weeks! hoping it’ll be the last winter chill of the season lol. and I’m thinking of doing an updated video on my collection soon, but i made a spreadsheet in Notion so i can filter by brand, name, finish etc!

Hmm these look pretty together as Skittles but I only love that pink! And then the green. Those two look so pretty next to each other 😊 I wasn't digging the blue, has quite a lot of white base which I do not love. Would love to see more saturation.

MT also had one called Best Bud, but it is barely blue. I wish they'd put out a slightly more saturated pale blue.

Loved this collection!! Is there a color that you recommend for ppl with neutral skin tone? I just end up wearing whatever I like 😂 but I’m unsure if there’s a “special” color that would stand out better on my hands.

It's pretty as a skittle but only really 3 of them would go well on my nails in a full mani. Tidy Touch would look best on my complexion like it did on you! Did you get last summer's You Octopi my heart from MT's Little Mermaid collection? I think it was more pink than Very Berry Clean. I might try to get the new one and compare them one day. Not this month, though. :-)

How does Sweet Morning Breeze compare to Bep Bep Blue? I'm on a neverending search for a dupe.

i sadly don’t have Bep Bep Blue 😩 but my guess is that BBB would be a bit brighter in color, Sweet Morning Breeze seems a little more muted (not to mention it also having that subtle shimmer)

@@PolishedYogi I think I mostly go for medium and dark oranges. When I just started painting my nails I wanted all the peachy colors to find out that they make my hands look dirty and pale.

LOVE Sweet Morning Breeze and Very Beery Clean! 🩵💜 I don’t like the 2 peachy shades and how similar they are, seems like a waste of 1 shade that could’ve been a totally different color. MT does decent creams for a mainstream brand.

Yeah I think if I had to choose between the two I would go with the lighter one, even though it’s not yellow lol I almost like that it’s that in between yellow-orange color 🤣 but right the blue & purple are such pretty shades!! And yeah the MT formula I’ve tried have all been pretty great, I esp love the brush more than OPI’s !
