The reason this works so well is that this song is right in her wheelhouse. The theme of being stuck in a bad place and knowing better is familiar stuff for Morgan. It's almost like she would have wrote this song if someone hadn't beat her to the punch. Plus she is a BOSS, all damn day she is a BOSS! So there's that too!
