@@SephirothRyu I believe in canon, Cipher is doing Mercenary until the nukes dropped, then went Soldier until just before Avalon Dam where Cipher was Knight until the end. PJ's lines don't fit in Valley of Kings unless you're playing Knight and Cipher did have a bloodthirsty reputation so he had to get that somehow so he probably went through character development.

The song in itself is a great musical piece, but when you hear it, and understand how this piece is masterfully integrated with the storyline where it was played in the climactic fight of the main character vs the final boss, how the fight played out, the intensitiy, the dynamics, the atmosphere and everything around it, it's simply a masterpiece of what a game should be.. Brought me tears as an adult when i came across this theme years later.. Definitely one of my top games of all time..
